If the employee meets certain criteria over a period of time, this position could become a regular full-time position.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Handles batch making responsibilities in all departments
Trained to make all formulations i.e.
Roof coating, Latex, and Solvent departments
Responsible for housekeeping in the work area
Reports raw material/equipment needs to Production Manager
Helps maintain inventory levels/cycle counts
Fills batches according to need i.e.
1's, 5's, 55's or totes (domestic or export)
Operates tow motor
Shop floor reporting
Submit a batch sample to QC lab for approval and retain before filling

Computer literacy is required, a basic understanding of SAP is helpful.
Able to work independently in a team-based lean/six sigma environment and contribute to the team's overall success.

Perform testing of production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components to determine conformance to specifications.
Judge as "fit for release" production batches, incoming raw materials, finished goods, and components that are in conformance to all specifications and visually acceptable.
Determine and communicate batch adjustments for any batches that do not conform to requirements, utilizing batch history, adjustment guidelines, and consultation with the QC Manager.
Perform validation testing during filling to insure integrity of finished goods, including labeling, packaging, and fill weights.
Communicate current status of inspections to QC Manager.
Communicate issues with work instructions and procedures to QC Manager.

Identify and contact suppliers and subcontractors as needed for inclusion in estimates. Ensure suppliers and subcontractors without Master Service Agreements (MSAs) are referred to the Divisional Administrator for approval, documenting exceptions or refusals to avoid procurement delays. Conduct thorough take-offs for roofing repairs and renovations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the project scope. Assemble and present estimates with precision, incorporating both numerical data and precise descriptive details. Maintain professional and timely communication with customers, Sales Representatives, field staff, and internal company personnel via email, phone, text, or in person. Assist in the training and development of Field Representatives and "Elevate" program candidates and graduates, in alignment with WTI Training Policy.
Training includes: Proper completion of services and related documentation. Safety training and documentation requirements. Certification and approval of Field Representatives, including OSHA Hazard Awareness and Toolbox Talks. Conduct Platinum Inspections, in conjunction with the Inspection Team, to prepare associated cost estimate proposals. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of WTI services and deliverables. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, working across Monday - Sunday on a rota basis covering early (8AM - 4PM, 8AM - 5PM & 8AM - 5:30PM) and late (2:30PM - 10:30PM & 3:30PM - 10:30PM) shifts.
