About the Role
As part of our clients succession planning strategy, we are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning team and ensure efficient production scheduling and demand forecasting.
Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is critical in aligning customer demand with production capability, driving On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery and optimising resources across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor production plans to achieve OTIF performance.
Oversee production planning processes to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation.
Collaborate with Manufacturing to forecast demand and align production with sales targets.
Utilise ERP systems to optimise supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to align with production and working capital needs.
Analyse historical data to improve forecasting accuracy and develop reliable sales/revenue plans.
Lead, supervise, and develop a Planning team of 4 direct reports.
Coordinate production plans based on capacity and material readiness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing capacity and inventory optimisation.
Manage supplier and customer relationships effectively.
Essential Requirements
Degree (or equivalent) in Business Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in production planning or supply chain management within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of factory planning methodologies and integrated ERP systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis); experience with SAP is desirable.
Skilled in demand forecasting software, reporting tools, and system integration.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Experience in lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma desirable.
Flexible, dynamic, and comfortable with complex production routes.
Strong communicator with ability to influence at all levels.
Willingness to travel as required.
Must be able to pass a company medical and drug/alcohol test.

1st Shift: 6 a.m.
to 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 2 p.m.
to 10:30 p.m.
(Shift Differential of $0.75)

to 6:30 a.m.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs work safely, according to safety rules and guidelines, and follows Tremco's Escalation Policy for any safety or quality concerns.
Communicates with Team Lead and/or Supervisor during shift changes and throughout shift.
Understands and operates the HMI at the various stations along the line to keep the line operating safely and efficiently.
Monitors weight, speed, and other metrics along the line.
Operates forklift to move raw materials, load carrier, and move finished product.
Makes raw material batches in the appropriate mixer(s), according to specifications.
Performs quality control tests on the batches, per established guidelines.
Ensures proper labels are being used on the taping machine.
Fills appropriate-sized pails, drums, or totes, labels filled items, and places pails/drums on pallet.
Performs daily housekeeping/cleaning of immediate area and other surrounding areas and departments, as needed.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No prior education or experience required.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or similar industry experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of mathematics-i.e., addition, subtraction, fractions, etc.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
Forklift Certificate and operations experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Here's what you can expect: • Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. • Follow checklists to inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions. • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment. • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. • Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Required Skills: • 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing • High School Diploma or equivalent • Must have expertise in packaging equipment, plumbing, and pipefitting, with skills in electrical work and instrument calibration considered a definite plus • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex packaging and material-handling equipment is required • Ability to do basic math. • Accurately enter and retrieve computer data. • Ability to operate machinery • Ability to solve problems in a team environment. • Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process. • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds. • Willing to work overtime as required. The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.) Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices. Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks.
