Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
Required Skills:
3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing High School Diploma or equivalent Must have expertise in packaging equipment, plumbing, and pipefitting, with skills in electrical work and instrument calibration considered a definite plus Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex packaging and material-handling equipment is required Ability to do basic math. Accurately enter and retrieve computer data. Ability to operate machinery Ability to solve problems in a team environment. Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process. Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds. Willing to work overtime as required.

Required Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. 1-3 years of industrial experience. Experience with filling and packaging equipment. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures. Ability to do basic math and enter computer data. Ability to coordinate with the work of others and solve problems in a team environment. Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Willingness to work overtime as required.

What We're Looking For

Experience in a warehouse environment (stock control, checking, audit, picking, dispatch, or similar)

Ability to follow instructions and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
