Wood Machinist Role & Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate and set up machines like spindle moulders, dimension saws, overhand planers, and thicknessers to shape and finish timber accurately.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Manager to join our team.
The BIM Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Revit/Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation to enhance the design, fabrication, and coordination of HercuWall.
This role will involve working closely with product, production, and sales teams to develop accurate and efficient BIM models that support manufacturing processes and ensure seamless integration of designs into the production floor.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Expert level knowledge along with Revit Certification highly desired.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The BIM Specialist is responsible for transforming conceptual layouts to full fabrication and installable LOD400 models of metal panels that integrate with the building design along with associated shop drawings and custom Revit schedules to facilitate shop fabrication.
The ability to perform minor changes to existing Revit families desired, or knowing when to reach out for advanced help.
The BIM Specialist will support senior modelers and project teams and promote the best tools and Revit/BIM best practices for each project with required configurations and deployments.
May lead discipline specific Revit/BIM modeling content for design projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain, modify and if able create new Revit families alone or in conjunction with the BIM Manager for the Texas Panel Plant. Create models using Autodesk Revit.
(Current version plus three release back) Create project specific 2D and 3D drawings and models for project submittals, special projects, bid packages, and product manufacturing (i.e.
Shop Drawings). Coordinate and assist with any addendum, request for information, change proposal requests and change orders; make necessary revisions to existing drawings. Prepare final drawings based on prior work examples and input from designers and/or engineers. Establish, implement, and maintain quality control procedures. Document RevitBIM standards, processes, procedures, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality across projects. Identify and resolve clashes, conflicts, and discrepancies within Revit/BIM models to ensure smooth coordination between various disciplines. Collaborate across functions to ensure accurate and timely designs in accordance with established budgets and estimates. Prioritize all work in accordance with project deadlines. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's Degree or similar in Design, CAD, Engineering, architecture, or related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum 2 years experience as a Revit modelling practitioner working with project architects, engineers or managers.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field with 5 years' experience of relevant experience A passion for chemistry, science, problem solving, and creativity. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. A breadth of technical knowledge and a keen interest in learning from others. Possess innovation skills evident as risk taking, result seeking, and idea integration.
Hands-on bench experience with various chemistries (latex, moisture curing, reactive, etc.) in sealants, adhesives, coatings, repair or related field. Bench chemistry experience and familiarity with various analytical techniques: wet chemistry, titrations, microscopy, rheology, thermal analysis, tensile testing, etc. Experience operating lab scale mixing equipment as well as lab scale analytical and testing apparatus.
