GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Starting in the Felt Department or Roofing Department of the East 80th Cleveland Manufacturing Plant, the Operator will start up, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and routinely, while achieving or exceeding standard levels of production, according to specifications.
This position can turn into a regular, full-time, union position if the employee completes the probationary period.
During the probationary period, this position will work on the 1st Shift.
If the employee successfully completes the probationary period and becomes a regular employee, the position will most likely change to 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on the Plant's needs.
3-SHIFT FACILITY:
1st Shift: 6 a.m.
to 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 2 p.m.
to 10:30 p.m.
(Shift Differential of $0.75)
3rd Shift: 10 p.m.
to 6:30 a.m.
(Shift Differential of $1.00)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs work safely, according to safety rules and guidelines, and follows Tremco's Escalation Policy for any safety or quality concerns.
Communicates with Team Lead and/or Supervisor during shift changes and throughout shift.
Understands and operates the HMI at the various stations along the line to keep the line operating safely and efficiently.
Monitors weight, speed, and other metrics along the line.
Operates forklift to move raw materials, load carrier, and move finished product.
Makes raw material batches in the appropriate mixer(s), according to specifications.
Performs quality control tests on the batches, per established guidelines.
Ensures proper labels are being used on the taping machine.
Fills appropriate-sized pails, drums, or totes, labels filled items, and places pails/drums on pallet.
Performs daily housekeeping/cleaning of immediate area and other surrounding areas and departments, as needed.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No prior education or experience required.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or similar industry experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of mathematics-i.e., addition, subtraction, fractions, etc.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
Forklift Certificate and operations experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

The Field Support Specialist works closely with the Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and increase the sales activity in the Sales Representative's region.
Maintains accounts through prospecting, closing, and providing solid market presence including serving customers.
Developing Business
Preparing and/or distributing marketing materials
Inspection and evaluation of the property
Preparing roof drawings and sketches
Preparing scope of work documents
Preparing proposals
Attending sales calls
Pricing patch and repair jobs
Providing technical expertise
Attending meetings with the architect, contractor and/or owner
Managing Accounts
Identifying, analyzing, resolving problems
Preparing reports to owners regarding the condition of roofs.
Project site visits to monitor installation of Tremco roofing products
Identification of any aspect of installation that does not comply with specifications
Review and resolve concerns of architects, contractors and owners regarding Tremco's installation instructions
Coordinating visits with contractors
Preparing reports on progress and problems for the Sales Representative.
QA/ QA+ inspections
Tremcare Gold Service (periodic visual inspection with minor repairs being addressed where detected on Tremco warranted roofs only).
Identifying and troubleshooting problems arising during installation and the lifecycle of the roof
May occasionally perform patch and repair work for small leaks that can be performed quickly after identifying the leak and other infrequent, limited physical labor.
May also perform minor maintenance (caulking, flashing touch up, applying small amounts of mastic, removing debris, etc.) to prevent potential leaks.
Other Work
This work may include but is not limited to:
Conducting diagnostic infra-red scans of roofs
Taking photographs
Preparing CADD drawings
Delivering or picking up samples, documents or small products from/to architects, owners and contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of two to three years of related hands-on experience and/or training in a similar role.
Prior sales and/or customer related experience in roofing industry required.Qualifications:
Thorough understanding and application of roofing and waterproofing contracting standards.
Experience with MS Word, Excel and familiarity with CADD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment. Typically, this person will carry out repairs on mechanical, domestic and hydraulic equipment both onboard vessels and in the repair workshop.
Repairs may also include work for external customers.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineer:
Ensure all shipboard mechanical equipment is operated and maintained in a safe, efficient manner.
Maintain all tools and equipment to a high standard.
Ensure company-approved Planned Maintenance / Purchasing systems are kept fully up to date.
Complete job reports after every job.
Allocate all materials used against the relevant job.
Ensure all appropriate PTW’s, isolations, risk assessments, and method statements are in place before starting tasks.
Initiate “Stop the Job” if unsafe practices are observed.
Provide out-of-hours service when required.
Actively promote and progress company QHSE policies.
Assist other divisions when required.
Maintain regular communication with management, crews, clients, and suppliers (both verbal and written).
Qualifications and requirements for the Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineer:
Qualified Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineer with relevant onshore/offshore support experience.
Experience in a similar role preferred.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Strong professional and verbal communication skills.
Mature, professional approach with patience and attention to detail.
Must be able to drive a lorry up to 12 tonnes, or be willing to obtain the relevant license.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Operates industrial blenders in accordance with established production schedules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment. Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules. Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards. Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements. Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications. Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas. Discharges blenders of powder when necessary. Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards. Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs. Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
