JOB DESCRIPTION
Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
Direct or coordinate production, processing, distribution, or marketing activities of industrial organizations.
Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems.
Assist in the hiring, training, evaluating, or discharging of staff or resolving personnel grievances.
Prepare and maintain production reports or personnel records.
Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs.
Coordinate or recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Performs work safely, according to safety rules and guidelines, and follows Tremco's Escalation Policy for any safety or quality concerns.
Communicates with Team Lead and/or Supervisor during shift changes and throughout shift.
Understands and operates the HMI at the various stations along the line to keep the line operating safely and efficiently.
Monitors weight, speed, and other metrics along the line.
Operates forklift to move raw materials, load carrier, and move finished product.
Makes raw material batches in the appropriate mixer(s), according to specifications.
Performs quality control tests on the batches, per established guidelines.
Ensures proper labels are being used on the taping machine.
Fills appropriate-sized pails, drums, or totes, labels filled items, and places pails/drums on pallet.
Performs daily housekeeping/cleaning of immediate area and other surrounding areas and departments, as needed.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No prior education or experience required.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or similar industry experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of mathematics-i.e., addition, subtraction, fractions, etc.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
Forklift Certificate and operations experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The 3rd Shift Certified Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment.
Equipment inspection includes preventative maintenance (PM) and associated documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all safety policies (especially Cardinal Rules - e.g., Hot Work, LOTO, and line breaking).
Partner with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager to support LEAN initiatives to eliminate unplanned production interruptions due to process equipment failure.
Implement the needed preventative measures, including optimization of the PM program.
Ensure reliable operation of facility support processes and utilities (i.e., HVAC, Air Compressors, Tow motors, Hot Oil Heaters, and chiller systems).
Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace, and maintain facility electrical systems (e.g.
programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and lighting) and components (e.g.
sensors, switches, valves, PLCs, and control wiring), and mechanical systems (e.g.
product vessels/reactors, pumps) and components.
Investigate equipment/process failures and difficulties to diagnose and troubleshoot faulty operation.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in arranging and coordinating contractors, safety permits, and tasks to support facility and process maintenance/repairs.
Serve, as needed, on process hazard analysis (PHA) teams/sessions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
One-year certificate from college or technical school.
Maintenance Mechanic Certificate or equivalent as deemed by the company.
Industrial Technology program graduate preferred.
Two to four years related experience and/or training.
Experience in LEAN manufacturing.
Military mechanical experience is a plus.
Experience in chemical/coating processing & production preferred.
Experience in dispensing operations preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Journeyman cards in various disciplines are preferred.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective Team Player, self-motivated, quick learner.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The 3rd Shift Certified Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment.
Equipment inspection includes preventative maintenance (PM) and associated documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all safety policies (especially Cardinal Rules - e.g., Hot Work, LOTO, and line breaking).
Partner with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager to support LEAN initiatives to eliminate unplanned production interruptions due to process equipment failure.
Implement the needed preventative measures, including optimization of the PM program.
Ensure reliable operation of facility support processes and utilities (i.e., HVAC, Air Compressors, Tow motors, Hot Oil Heaters, and chiller systems).
Diagnose/Troubleshoot, repair/replace, and maintain facility electrical systems (e.g.
programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and lighting) and components (e.g.
sensors, switches, valves, PLCs, and control wiring), and mechanical systems (e.g.
product vessels/reactors, pumps) and components.
Investigate equipment/process failures and difficulties to diagnose and troubleshoot faulty operation.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in arranging and coordinating contractors, safety permits, and tasks to support facility and process maintenance/repairs.
Serve, as needed, on process hazard analysis (PHA) teams/sessions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
One-year certificate from college or technical school.
Maintenance Mechanic Certificate or equivalent as deemed by the company.
Industrial Technology program graduate preferred.
Two to four years related experience and/or training.
Experience in LEAN manufacturing.
Military mechanical experience is a plus.
Experience in chemical/coating processing & production preferred.
Experience in dispensing operations preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Journeyman cards in various disciplines are preferred.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective Team Player, self-motivated, quick learner.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

New Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM
Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry.
We offer a wide product range including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial roof repair coatings and, of course, the famous rust-fighting formula that started it all.
Pay: $30/hour.
This position offers a 36-hour workweek with compensation equivalent to a standard 40-hour workweek.
Weekend Shift Differential: $3.00/hour
Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 6:00AM - 6:30PM
The primary result expected from the Maintenance Technician will be to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of the facility in repair by Pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Follow checklists to inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices. Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Responsibilities/Expectations: Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person.
Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality. Learn all manual tasks performed within the department. Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures. Treat people with dignity and respect. Conduct all business with integrity. Adhere to Rust-Oleum Corporation Quality principles and participate in all departmental and company-wide Quality activities.
