Summary:

Partner with the Corporate Scheduler to synchronize material availability with production priorities and schedules.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate financial and material records.
Leverage cost-saving opportunities by consolidating purchases and adjusting order quantities based on production needs and inventory levels.
Collaborate with Corporate Purchasing, Plant Management, and Scheduling to establish optimal reorder points and stocking levels.
Assist in vendor evaluation and selection, recommending suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
Maintain comprehensive and organized records of purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation for audit readiness.
Provide support for planning, scheduling, and administrative functions to enhance operational efficiency.
Promote a culture of safety by identifying hazards, adhering to safety protocols, and promptly reporting incidents.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for proper handling and disposal of materials.

Checks all equipment air filters on a daily basis and replaces as necessary. Checks operation of air compressor and cooling tower daily, notes problems and makes corrections as required. Check monthly with Cooling Water Treatment Technician. Checks operation of algicide feeding system daily and refills as needed. Makes repairs to facilities as needed to include plumbing, heating, and A/C. Performs minor electrical maintenance. Operates maintenance machine tools, performs welding as needed, cutting torch and brazing. Responsible for maintenance shop housekeeping. Follows safe practices in the performance of all duties. Delivers and picks up items used for maintenance needs. Maintain air in line oiler throughout plant when needed lubricates. Performs other miscellaneous maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor.

Title: Credit Intern

Jumpstart your career with a hands-on internship in our Credit Department at Corporate Headquarters.
As a Credit Intern, you'll gain real-world experience through impactful summer projects, learning the ins and outs of credit operations while collaborating with experienced professionals.
Along the way, you'll grow your network through mentorship, peer connections, and exposure to senior leadership-building both your industry knowledge and professional confidence.

Minimum Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or a related field.
Available to work 30-40 hours per week from May through August.
Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-based with extended computer use (up to 8 hours/day).
Students must have housing arrangements in or near St.
Louis, MO for the summer, as housing allowance is not provided.
No unusual lifting, environmental, or exertion requirements.
Essential Functions:
Bring curiosity and a growth mindset to learning credit processes and financial systems.
Reconcile customer accounts promptly to ensure accuracy and up-to-date records.
Review and evaluate credit data-including bank/trade references, D&B reports, and financial statements-to support credit limit decisions.
Proactively follow up with customers on past-due accounts using aging reports and maintain consistent communication.
Communicate clearly and professionally across all channels with strong verbal and written skills.
Leverage Microsoft Excel and Word to support credit analysis and reporting tasks.
Collaborate across departments to support credit operations and contribute to team goals.
Apply critical thinking and creativity to identify solutions and improve processes.
