The primary result expected from the Assistant Supervisor-Filling will be to supervise the department to ensure the manufacturing of paint and related products by directing and coordinating the daily activities under the guidance of the shift supervisor, executing the shift production work schedule as dictated via the production plan, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized working environment. Typical tasks for this position include (but are not limited to) the following: Enforce health and safety regulations. Help coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, and fabricators. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training. Observe work and monitor all indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. Confer with management to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Responsibilities/Expectations: Communicate with Supervisors, peers: provide information to supervisors and co-workers in written form or in person. Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality. Learn all manual tasks performed within the department. Learn to operate all equipment in filling and packaging areas. Fill in for operators on a as need basis. Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures, and following department specific quality control processes and procedures. Treat people with dignity and respect. Conduct all business with integrity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete work functions within Chemical production operations.
Responsible for the quality blending of finished products and the bulk, drum, and pail packaging of products.
Full understanding of Chemical Hazards specific to area assigned to, including PPE.
General forklift duties.
The core responsibility for blending and packaging of products demands the use of mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps, mixing equipment, and automation control systems.
Completion and compliance of all safety initiatives and certification requirements including all near miss and incident reporting.
Accountable for the data entry of production tickets, good receipts, and shipping documentation.
Daily inspection of work area and monthly document reporting.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred, Forklift experience certified.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Good Attendance record.
Able to Work 12-hour shift: Dupont Schedule, Day and Graveyard rotation.
Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, squat down, and reach above your head throughout the day,
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Team Leader (Manufacturing) is proficient in all areas of production and efficiently & correctly performs all duties in addition to more complex maintenance and continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works under minimal supervision
Adjusts machines to achieve production goals
Collaborates with machine operators in production process
Assists in carrying out production growth strategy
Troubleshoots complex processing problems with little or no assistance
Actively participates in identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Determines priorities and creates procedures to meet objectives of the plant
Ensures maintenance is completed according to Preventative Maintenance Plan
Cross-trains on all production areas in the facility (i.e.
safety, production, equipment)
Sets production schedule based on plant and customer needs utilizing factors such as lead time and manufacturing efficiency
Supports and validates the work of machine operators by answering questions, preparing production lines, and providing general direction
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: No formal educational requirement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 4+ years related experience and/or training.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Windows and MS Office products (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Positive team player
Knowledge of area operations and related safe work practices/procedures and demonstrated ability to coordinate work activities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.
