GENERAL SUMMARY: Perform a variety of general repairs, installations, and maintenance on facility equipment, building and utility systems.
Perform general carpentry, floor repairs and general repairs of facility.
Maintain record of maintenance and repairs.
Make routine checks and inspections of equipment for proper lubrication and other general maintenance functions.
Check out problem areas and make repairs and adjustments as needed.
Refer complex situations to supervisor.
Operate machines, tools, perform welding and other maintenance tasks as required.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As a member of the fabrication team, the Production Assembler performs assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to, producing architectural shapes, Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) wall components, and exterior panel systems.

Follows the daily production schedule set by the Production Supervisor. Reads fabrication drawings and tape measurements to prepare materials for assembly. Uses hand power tools to trim corners and fold panel returns. Pre-drills aluminum parts as required. Applies silicone sealant to aluminum extrusions. Attaches aluminum parts using set screws. Assists in building custom crates based on project specifications. Prepares and organizes parts for shipment. Assists with shipping and receiving. Follows all safety requirements. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
No formal educational requirement. High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No prior experience or training. Previous work in a construction, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred. Previous work in the aluminum panel or window industry is preferred.

Duties of Engineering Supervisor:

Responsible for leading and implementing PPM schedules
Responsible for identifying and eliminating recurring plant issues through engineering improvements and RCA
