The role offers the opportunity to work within a globally recognised law firm, handling high-value and complex matters for major insurers, P&I clubs, brokers, shipowners, charterers, logistics companies, and other stakeholders in the global marine sector.
The work spans both contentious and advisory areas, including coverage disputes, subrogated recoveries, liability claims, and cross-border matters.
Key responsibilities include managing a varied caseload across marine insurance lines such as hull and machinery, cargo, P&I, and freight liability, as well as advising on complex policy coverage issues.
The role involves acting in High Court litigation, LMAA and other arbitrations, and international disputes.
It also requires strong drafting skills for pleadings, opinions, policy wordings, and settlement agreements, while supporting partners on strategic, high-value cases and maintaining strong client relationships.

The Surveyor is responsible for leading and delivering low to medium complexity projects through the effective planning and execution of positioning, navigation, and data acquisition activities.
The role includes ensuring accurate offsets, measurements, and calibrations of positioning equipment; setting up and/or operating survey systems; performing required computations; and compiling comprehensive survey reports.
The Surveyor is also accountable for applying appropriate quality control (QC) to all data, computations, and deliverables.

The Opportunity An experienced Composite Laminator is required to support the manufacture of high-quality composite parts within an advanced materials and structures team based in SW London.

Key Responsibilities
- Lay up composite materials (e.g.
carbon fibre, glass fibre and other advanced fabrics) into moulds in line with lay-up instructions and quality standards.
- Prepare moulds, tools and materials, including cutting fabrics, applying release agents and setting up for vacuum bagging or other lamination processes.
- Assist in the manufacture of prototype parts and test samples for R&D programmes, working closely with engineers and technicians.
