The Role
Your caseload includes representing clients within police stations, Magistrates Court, and Crown Court.
Part of your role will be to regularly visit clients within police stations and prisons whilst compiling your client's defences.
Key Responsibilities
To play an integral role in providing comprehensive guidance to existing and new clients to the firm and handling your own caseload from start to finish.
Advising clients and investigating matters.
Visiting police stations and prisons to meet with clients, draft legal documents and formulate an accurate and compelling defences.
Take an active role in business development to help to raise the profile of you, the team and the firm.
About You
Qualified solicitor with between 1 - 5 years PQE within criminal defence matters including having run your own caseload from start to finish.
It would be desirable if you were police station accredited, and/or a higher advocate in the Crown Court, however this is not essential.
Excellent client communication skills
Keen to develop the firm with an interest in business development
