Applications are invited from Registered Nurses with a genuine committment to working with older people to join the comprehensive Older Adult Mental Health service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.The Unit is a 20-bedded ward, including two respite beds, dedicated to care for patients with enduring mental Health (EMI) conditions and this opportunity is open to Mental Health or General/Adult Nurses.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The current Band 5 salary range is £38,744 to £49,970 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.

Your role will be essential in helping him rest safely and securely in the comfort of his home
🩺 Client's Clinical Needs:
You'll be supporting him with the following:
· Cerebral Palsy
· Severe dystonia with prolonged spasms
· Night-time feeding via PEG
· Nasal and oral suctioning
· Seizure monitoring (no rescue medication currently required)
· Sats monitoring
· PRN oxygen administration (as needed)
· Chest physiotherapy including nebulisers and percussion
There are no challenging behaviors, and the environment is calm and nurturing.

9 PM - 7 AM)
