As a Senior Nursery Practitioner / Deputy Room Leader, you will be supporting the daily running of a room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
This full-time permanent role offers a salary of 3;28,000 and benefits.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Supporting the Room Leader with the day-to-day running of the room.
* Delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.
* Acting as a key person, carrying out observations and maintaining accurate records of progress.
* Ensuring the safety and welfare of all children, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
* Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to promote strong partnerships.
* Maintaining high standards of practice, environment, and resources in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Contributing to planning and assessment to meet individual needs.
* Encouraging an inclusive environment where all children have equal access and opportunities.
What We Are Looking For
* Previously worked as a Senior Nursery Practitioner, Senior Nursery Nurse, Deputy Room Leader, Assistant Room Leader, Room Supervisor or in a similar role.
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification .
* Ideally have 1year of experience in Childcare or nursery environment.
* Knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework.
* Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training.
* Strong ability to plan, observe, and assess children's learning and development.
* Awareness of health & safety requirements and safeguarding responsibilities.
* Ability to support children with SEND and work in partnership with parents.
