GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Seeking an applicant with a demonstrated knowledge of sealant/coating formulations across multiple chemistries, with a focus on reactive, one component systems and butyl technologies, and would be responsible for all efforts regarding new developmental projects and operational and supply chain support regarding them.
The incumbent in the role will advance projects effectively once given guidance from senior leadership and communicate project updates to assist in tactical decision making regarding the area of their expertise.
They will demonstrate competency regarding adaptability, resourcefulness, collaboration, and accountability to drive projects to completion when working individually or within a group dynamic.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support research projects that deliver business results through data-driven decision making
Design & execute experiments to evaluate and optimize the performance attributes of assigned technologies
Work within multiple cross-functional teams to enable new product development project success
Execute multiple project activities through a defined product development process
Execute data analysis and interpretation in support of project and product problem solving
Maintain proper documentation of technical and experimental activities
Present work and subject matter internally to facilitate discussion of project management
Ability to travel up to 25%
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in chemistry
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 2+ Years' experience in two or more of the following technologies:
Polyurethane Technology - including MDI and IPDI Sealant Development
Hybrid Technology - Silane Modified Polyurethane Development
Butyl Technology - Mastic and Hot-Melt Development
Water Based Technology - Polyurethane Dispersions Development

About You

An opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join a well-established landscape construction firm specializing in both hard and soft landscaping, garden design, and bespoke outdoor structures.
As a Bookkeeper, you will be handling day-to-day bookkeeping and supporting the financial function across the business.
This full-time role offers a salary range of £28,000 - £31,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing both purchase and sales ledgers
* Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with job costing and budgeting
* Administering payroll and processing VAT, PAYE and CIS
* Conducting bank reconciliations and generating financial reports for senior leadership

The Ideal Person for the Sales Engineer
This role would suit either someone currently in an internal sales position looking to move into an external sales role or an experienced external salesperson.
Internal candidates will receive full training and will initially be based at their head office in Bedfordshire.
Candidates must have strong HVAC product knowledge and experience working with technical products, ideally selling solutions into the commercial sector.
We are looking for a strong relationship builder with established connections in the M&E consultant and contractors market.
As the first external sales ambassador for their family-run business, you will work closely with and be supported by the Sales Director, who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the sector.
You must be able to commute to London within one hour.

In this role you will be well supported and will quickly grow and develop your skills as you work alongside 2 experienced partners and a senior solicitor who are very well regarded in the market.
