DAP is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR & Safety department and make a difference at one of DAP's largest manufacturing sites, located in Dallas, Texas,
This role is a member of the leadership team, reports to the Director of Human Resources for Operations and has two direct reports.
The position supports the DAP Dallas Plant and oversees HR duties for the Garland Distribution Center
Responsibilities
Recruitment
• Screens, interviews, and onboards new hires. • Manages external recruiting agencies for temporary workers.
Employee Relations

Health and Safety

• Develops, interprets, and enforces plant policies and procedures. • Update policies, as needed.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Communications, or related disciplines • 5+ years of relevant experience at a manufacturing facility • Ability to identify and implement innovative programs to support the plant's business objectives. • Excellent conflict-resolution, problem-solving and team-building skills • Excellent communication skills • Leadership skills • Knowledge of employment laws. • Knowledge of Payroll preferred. • High proficiency of Microsoft Office. • Must be bilingual in Spanish.

Strong skills in communication (oral and written), organization, and time management. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of sales processes and procedures. Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits as required. Travel in the field is >50% of the time. Location: Swindon Salary: £26,000 with additional earnings for on call service (OTE of £30,300) Hours: 40 hours per week + shared on-call rota, additional hours may be required to meet business needs
About the Role: As our Care Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping the daily rhythm of our care service.
Your main responsibility will be to plan and maintain rotas well in advance, ensuring that care visits are matched appropriately to each customer's needs, staff skills, and locations.
You'll also act as a first point of contact for both care staff, customers and other healthcare professionals, helping to resolve queries, handle concerns or compliments, and escalate issues where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain rotas that ensure continuity of care and efficient travel routes
Match carers to clients based on skills, experience, and location
Respond promptly and professionally to calls, messages, and emails from customers, families, and staff
Manage last-minute changes with calm and clear communication
Record and report issues, concerns, compliments, and complaints appropriately
Work closely with the care team and management to maintain high standards of service delivery
About You:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on domiciliary care experience (essential)
Proven experience in rota planning, rostering, or scheduling (desirable)
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner
Confident using care management or rostering software (training will be provided)
Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Essential Functions
Processes HR documents including all new-hire and termination paperwork, training documents, benefits, and employee changes.
Process, track and maintain all new-hire and on-boarding requirements, including physical, background checks, I-9 employment eligibility and paperwork.
Conduct new Employee Orientation. Maintain all government and internal required logs and reports; i.e., EEO, AAP, New Hire and Termination logs. Help organize training and development initiatives. Assist in recruiting process by sourcing, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews and testing as needed. Support implementation of human resources policies. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, procedures and employee relations. Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement. Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws. Generate reports and assist with HR metrics tracking. Monitor employee morale and company culture. Provides administrative support to Office Team. Monthly visit to out of state facility.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline (HR Preferred); suitable combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Three to Five years' HR experience. Good knowledge of employment/labor laws. Excellent communication, verbal and written skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
Preferred Requirements
Ability to understand business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective. Experience in a Manufacturing plant or Distribution Center, preferred. Experience with Oracle systems (e.g., Oracle HRMS, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Database) strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require computer usage for an extended period of time - up to 8 hours a day.
No unusual environmental, lifting or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
Requires travel up to 25% within company plants, distribution facilities and other North American locations.
May have occasional exposure to various manufacturing chemicals during travels.
Benefits and Compensation
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $51,000 and $55,000.
The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
