Are you an experienced production technician / operator looking for an exciting new job opportunity?
We are currently looking for multiple Production Technicians and Operators to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area.
There are multiple vacancies across various production teams including; incoming materials, equipment and machine preparation, material handling/processing, sterile operations, quality control, labelling and packaging.
All production teams work 24/7 and as the Production Technician, you will be on a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift.
As the Production Technician you will be responsible for the technical aspects of machine set-up and operation/completion of relevant documentation, whilst actively supporting process improvements and adhering to cGMP regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Production Technician will be varied dependent on which team you join, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.
To adhere to cGMP and H&S standards, including hygiene, environmental control and safe working practices within the production environment.
2.
To ensure that manufacturing equipment is used in compliance with any maintenance, calibration and validation requirements.
3.
Help co-ordinate the activities of the section including the liaising with other sections when required.
4.
To develop skills which will enable reviews of SOPs, BPRs and related documentation as required by the Team Leader.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Production Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.
Have previous work experience in a process or highly regulated industry, for e.g.
Pharmaceutical, Chemicals, Food, FMCG, Beverages etc.
2.
Experience in setting up and operating automated and semi-automated equipment in compliance with approved procedures.
3.
Demonstrated ability to understand and follow SOPs with good attention to detail.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for creating drawings to be incorporated with Business Operations services.
Performs daily production activities as needed to process inspection forms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze data entered into roofing software by the production department or field tech reps. Revise data per acceptable roofing practice, Tremco standards, and rules of grammar. Create individual drawings for each building as well as site plans when provided. Upon completion of projects notify the sales rep and building owner, the data is available online for them to view. Create drawing packages for special projects such as bid packages. Make necessary revisions to drawings. Prioritize all work by due dates. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.

The Role of the Multi Skilled Operator
The Multi Skilled Operator will be based in the companies Salford Plant.
Working for this market leading manufacturer of building products you will specialise in Asphalt.?
You’ll be working alongside the Plant Manager.
As the Multi Skilled Operator you’ll be required to be hands on, mixing asphalt, operating the loading shovel and weighbridge daily.
Responsibility for your own Health and Safety and any visitors or contractors to your site.?
Responsibility for the accurate production of Asphalt?
Ensuring timely delivery of raw materials.?
Typical working hours are Monday-Friday 6am- 3pm and alternative Saturdays 6am-9am.
Expectation to be flexible (i.e breakdowns/maintenance)
The Ideal Person for the Multi Skilled Operator
Will ideally have worked within the industry, with Asphalt experience being a benefit.
Individuals with experience of working in a Quarry are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, responsible and have excellent inter-personal skills.?
Flexibility and initiative are essential for this demanding and rewarding position.?
A good level of physical fitness.?
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.?
Commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.?
Experience in a similar plant role would be beneficial but not essential.
Previous experience in Asphalt production would be advantageous.
