Are you a relentless, goal-oriented new business hunter who thrives on the thrill of winning new accounts? Do you love the challenge of the chase — the cold call, the pitch, the close — and want to be rewarded properly for it? Do you want to work in a culture that's fun, friendly and genuinely passionate about what it does?We are the UK's leading e-commerce packaging company, based in Barnet, North London, and part of a wider group with a number of market-leading brands across Europe.
We're a team of 50 people across three locations - London, Berlin and Newmarket, half of which are based here in Barnet - and we're growing fast.
We're now looking for a driven, out-and-out New Business Sales Executive to join our Sales team and hunt down the brands and agencies who need our paper bags, cartons and packaging solutions. This is a pure hunter role.
Your job is new business, full stop - prospecting, cold calling, booking meetings, and closing deals.
To keep you focused on winning, you'll be backed by dedicated office administrative support, taking care of quoting, order processing and day-to-day account admin once you've landed the account, so your time stays where it earns the most: pipeline and revenue.Every employee here is unique and valued.
We take pride in delivering excellence consistently, and with our rapid growth we're always looking to add the best talent to our teams.
If you're commercially sharp, resilient, and get a genuine buzz from opening new doors, this is the role for you.Role Specifics
Proactively prospecting and cold calling to build a robust pipeline of potential new clients across brands and agencies.Researching and identifying new business opportunities and sales options within your target market.Booking and running client meetings — by phone in your first six months, then increasingly face to face on field days — to understand prospects' packaging needs.Pitching tailored packaging solutions and confidently closing new trading accounts.Handing over won accounts cleanly to your dedicated administrator, briefing them fully on the client's requirements so quoting and order processing run smoothly.Consistently hitting activity and output targets — call volumes, meetings booked, and new accounts opened.Achieving new business revenue targets on a monthly basis, as set by your Line Manager.Keeping the CRM accurately updated with prospect and pipeline activity.Contributing to overall team spirit and helping create a positive working environment for all members of staff.
Knowledge & Experience
Minimum 4 years' experience in a pure new business / hunter sales role, ideally B2B.A demonstrable track record of self-generated pipeline and new account wins — not just managing warm leads.Packaging, print or corrugated industry experience is a strong plus, though high-performing hunters from related B2B sectors will be considered.Excellent pitching and objection-handling skills, with the confidence to engage decision-makers quickly.Solid telephone manner and strong verbal and written communication.Full UK driving licence, as field days will require travel to meet clients.Naturally resilient — comfortable with rejection and hungry to hit volume-based targets.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy pipeline and prioritise effectively.Must have a bubbly, friendly and positive demeanour, with a genuine 'can do' attitude and dynamism.
What We Offer
£40,000 basic salary with uncapped commission (£60,000 OTE).Dedicated administrator support so you can focus 100% on selling.Career development opportunities within a fast-growing group.Company laptop, smartphone and full CRM access.On-site parking.Subsidised private healthcare and pension contributions.Vibrant, dynamic working environment and a genuinely supportive team culture.Office-based, with regular field days to meet clients and prospectsPlease apply here.
