The Role - Toolmaker:
- Reading technical drawings to understand any specifications.
- Using manual machinery to create custom components.
- Setting and operating any machinery needed.
- Quality checking parts using various hand tools.
- Maintenance and repair of any damaged tools.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Previous toolmaking experience.
- Able to quality check your own parts.
- Ability to inspect and maintain any parts.
- Experience with manual machines such as lathes, surface grinder.
