It would be ideal if you have both quality assurance and regulatory affairs knowledge.
However, people have moved into this role from either regulatory affairs or quality assurance background, but with a general knowledge in the other side.
It is essential that you have medical devices knowledge, especially ISO 13485 and FDA 510k knowledge.
Although writing submissions will not be a major part of your role, you will relay information to the teams responsible for this, so ideally you will have done this in the past or at least assisted.
Ideally, you will have QMS experience.
If you do have this knowledge, I would advise making it clear on your CV as this is highly desirable in this role.

About the role/schoolWe are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join an Outstanding (Ofsted 2025) early years setting in West London.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work alongside an Early Years Teacher and another Teaching Assistant to support a small group of children aged two to four.
This Early Years Practitioner role offers a nurturing, research-led environment that blends structured learning with play-based exploration.
The setting is known for its inclusive ethos, reserving places for bursary children, and for maintaining high staff satisfaction through strong professional development and support.

Job Responsibilities
Support children's personal, social, and emotional development as an Early Years Practitioner
Help maintain a safe, calm, and engaging environment
Assist with observations and assessments in line with the EYFS
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory guidance at all times
Work closely with colleagues on planning and daily routines
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Support children with transitions and any additional needs
Qualifications/Experience
Experience working with children under five
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
Understanding of the EYFS framework
Enhanced DBS Certificate
Right to work in the UK
