We are currently looking for a Pharmacoepidemiologist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the UK on a remote basis.
As the Pharmacoepidemiologist, you will be responsible for contributing to the knowledge of the safety of medicinal products across multiple therapeutic areas.
This is an initial 12 month contract, ideally starting early April and on a remote basis.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Pharmacoepidemiologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.
As the Pharmacoepidemiologist, you will conduct reviews of epidemiological and clinical trial literature and summarise information on the incidence of safety-related medical events in populations targeted by medicinal products.
2.
As the Pharmacoepidemiologist, you will partner with senior Pharmacoepidemiologists in the design of literature search strategies and collaborate with the Statistical and Real-World Data Science group.
3.
As the Pharmacoepidemiologist, you will support the analysis, interpretation, and summation of aggregate safety data from Real-World Data sources, including health insurance claims and electronic health record databases.
4.
As the Pharmacoepidemiologist, you will evaluate efficiency gains associated with using generative AI tools to aid literature reviews.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Pharmacoepidemiologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

Relevant degree in epidemiology or a related field.
2.
Proven industry experience in designing and conducting reviews of epidemiological literature.
3.
A working knowledge and practical experience with interpreting and abstracting aggregate safety information from published clinical trial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a complex caseload, including assessment, care planning, risk management, and outcome evaluation.
Deliver person-centered treatments and interventions to help children and young people develop strategies to thrive.
Work with schools, social care, voluntary, and partnership agencies to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.
Provide specialist assessments, care planning, and discharge planning in collaboration with service users, social workers, and carers.
Deliver a range of interventions, including pharmacological and psychologically informed treatments, in line with NICE guidelines.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or equivalent with valid NMC/HCPC registration.
Experience: Previous experience in CAMHS, children's mental health, or social care settings.
Skills: Strong assessment, care planning, and therapeutic intervention skills.
Compliance: Up-to-date DBS check and right to work in the UK.
