Principal Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance:

Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of spare parts, tools, and supplies required for maintenance activities.
- Procure necessary parts and materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
- Generate reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and downtime analysis.

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, increase operational efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs.
- Implement preventive maintenance best practices, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies, and condition monitoring techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment and systems.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, food safety standards, and GMPs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as SQF, FDA, USDA, and HACCP.
- Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP) is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and communicates standards of EHS&S code of conduct, ensures mutual understanding, and mitigates exposure to hazardous / undesirable conditions in our business operations and product uses.
Leads the development and implementation of comprehensive regulatory compliance programs in the areas of occupational health and safety, hazardous materials management, environmental management, transportation materials safety, security and product compliance.
Interprets regulations, develops legislatively compliant, organizationally appropriate standards for Tremco CPG.
Conducts EHS&S audits, documents statistics with respect to EHS&S program compliance, and makes recommendations with respect to annual safety program changes and objectives.
Represents CPG with professional organizations, regulatory bodies and governmental agencies.
Serves as the primary point of contact for Tremco CPG EHS&S business unit operations and associated EHS&S staff.
May act as expert witness in the event of investigations and legal proceedings.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge and relevant documentation with respect to EHS&S rules, regulations and legislation, as applicable to business operations and product mix.
Researches best practices and investigates program innovations, both broadly and with respect to chemicals manufacturing, distribution and disposal, and makes recommendations regarding policy gaps and program improvement opportunities.
Prepares recommendations with respect to pending or anticipated changes in legislation, and develops proactive, cost effective program options in support of chemical product and regulatory changes.
Travel to and work with Tremco CPG locations as needed to serve as a resource to Tremco CPG operations regarding policies, standards and best practices with respect to EHS&S compliance, hazardous materials management, and product compliance.

Identifies and corrects non-code compliant processes by formal audits and makes recommendations to rectify compliance issues and mitigate risk of accident / liability.

Assesses EHS&S human resources requirements in medium and long term, and prepares plans to develop and/or recruit needed talent to achieve organization objectives.
Prepares, implements and monitors the annual program budget, and takes corrective action on budget variances.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
4-10 years' experience leading and contributing to compliance and regulatory policy and program development in a materials processing environment.

An opportunity has arisen for a Door Engineer to join a well-established security solutions provider, specialising in high-quality security, fire, and industrial door services across various sectors.
As a Door Engineer, you will be installing, servicing and repairing industrial and automatic door systems across customer sites in the South of the UK.
This full-time permanent role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for servicing clients across the South of the UK, ideally based in Kent, Hampshire, Sussex, Dorset, or the surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for
* Installing, maintaining and repairing industrial doors and associated equipment.
* Carrying out inspections, identifying faults and resolving technical issues.
* Travelling to customer sites across the South of the UK.
* Working safely and in line with relevant health and safety requirements.
* Liaising professionally with customers and colleagues during site visits.
* Ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standard.
* Servicing automatic and pedestrian door systems where required.
The candidates from the following background will be considered:
* Door Engineer, Industrial Door Engineer, Automatic Door Engineer, Door Technician, Shutter Engineer, Roller Shutter Engineer, Service Engineer or in a similar role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sustaining Hardware Engineer to join a growing technology organisation developing and manufacturing high-performance embedded computing solutions for the defence, aerospace, telecommunications and other high-reliability industries.
The company has been delivering high-end computer systems and associated hardware for over four decades and continues to experience strong year-on-year growth.
With continued investment in new product development, existing product lifecycles and engineering facilities, the business is expanding its Sustaining Engineering team.
This is a technically varied role focused on maintaining, improving and extending the lifecycle of complex electronic products already in production.
The successful candidate will work across high-speed digital electronics, microprocessors, complex PCBs, memory, Ethernet and computer architectures, supporting component obsolescence, customer-specific modifications, troubleshooting and design verification.
This role would suit a technically strong hardware or electronics engineer with experience in high-speed digital circuit design who enjoys solving complex technical problems and working across multiple areas of electronic engineering.
Defence experience is beneficial but not essential, with candidates from sectors such as medical, automotive and other high-reliability electronics environments also considered.
Main Responsibilities of the Sustaining Hardware Engineer (Colchester):
Support and maintain existing high-end computer systems and associated electronic hardware
Manage component obsolescence and identify suitable replacement or equivalent components
Develop re-spins and modifications to legacy products to extend their operational lifecycle
Investigate and resolve faults and technical issues within existing hardware designs
Carry out small-scale hardware and schematic modifications to existing products
Support customer-specific product modifications and customisation requirements
Identify technical requirements and ensure appropriate analysis and development activities are completed
Work closely with the CAD team on PCB layout and verify completed designs
Conduct schematic and PCB design reviews
Perform design verification and testing following hardware modifications
Use laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, analysers and thermal chambers
Support products through testing and verification to ensure reliability and performance
Report technical issues, development activity and project progress
Prepare and submit technical work for review as part of obsolescence management activities
Work collaboratively with design engineering, technical support and other internal teams
Provide technical input and feedback to improve engineering processes and methodologies
Requirements of the Sustaining Hardware Engineer (Colchester):
Strong experience in high-speed digital circuit design
Experience working with complex electronic systems and PCBs
Strong debugging and fault-finding skills
Experience modifying and troubleshooting existing hardware designs
Ability to understand and work from complex schematics
Experience with design verification and electronic testing
Comfortable working with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and analysers
Ability to work collaboratively across engineering and technical teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous
