GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Work assigned tasks on a production line making below grade waterproofing material using bentonite and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE).
Operate and observe machinery used in the production process so that malfunctions can be detected, and supervision can be notified.
Measure material and utilize cutting tools to cut materials to specified length.
Fill pails with manufactured material.
Pack and store manufactured material by rolling materials onto a core, place the roll in a bag, and seal with a wire twist tie.
Shrink wrap or band finished goods.
Rework rejected materials.
Box manufactured accessories for further processing or shipment, following prescribed procedures.
Use a forklift to lift and transfer manufactured materials between work and storage areas.
Sift bentonite that is recycled from floors and rejected materials.
Assist in representing environmental and quality ISO management plans.
Participate in facility projects by performing maintenance and repair work related to the facility.
Utilize, sustain, and audit established Lean Manufacturing processes.
Clean work areas, machinery, and equipment.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 1+ Years of related experience

Specific Requirements: Establish and maintain professional relationships with partners, suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers. Review and plan materials forecasting and usage and ensure supplier understanding of PO requirements for long-term product availability. Prepare and submit the required documentation to establish credit terms with vendors and contractors. Monitor and track the quality of service provided and supplier performance, driving improvements in timely delivery, quality conformance, and compliance. Compose POs, verify availability, coordinate delivery dates, monitor shipments and back orders, expedite deliveries, and communicate status and ETAs to the team and partners to support target production dates. Maintain and update procurement data in the ERP system Ensure sufficient stock quantities are maintained to support demands. Maintain cross-functional communication to ensure awareness of material additions, changes in specifications, and supplier changes. Identify cost-reduction opportunities. Minimum Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field. Ability to visit and evaluate a plant to order the proper dispenser equipment needed to do the job right (such as conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.) Install the dispenser equipment and help assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.).
When the install is complete tech is responsible to clean up any mess that was created during the visit. Will be responsible to pick up any equipment in the field that needs to be removed, and returned to a Euclid facility.
Responsible to wash out any tanks immediately upon being returned at the Euclid Chemical plant with the guidance of the plant manager on the waste product. Willingness and ability to restore any used equipment that can be reused. Will be required to do paperwork (such as DOT Certifications, Expense Reports, Daily or Weekly Reports, etc.) The DOT Certifications will be done professionally on Euclid Letterhead and handed to the customer. May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.). Required to order equipment and install that equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation. Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment when needed. Assist in state inspections where necessary. Respond to customer issues with those dispensers when needed. Assure that their truck is properly equipped with the necessary parts to fix or repair the equipment.

The operator is responsible for area readiness to produce which includes safety and collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other raw chemical materials.
One batch is complete the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specification is met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience is required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic Computer Skills required (Windows Familiarity).
Lean and VFM (Visual Factory Management) skills and/or willingness to train.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Kettle Operator is responsible for processing Tremco Sealants and/or Roofing products by carefully reading and following the process order card.
The operator is responsible for area readiness to produce which includes safety and collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other raw chemical materials.
One batch is complete the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specification is met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines using control boards, Human Machine Interface (HMI computer touch screen) or semi-automatic equipment.
Draw samples of products, and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and ensure that standards are met.
Use appropriate scales or measurement devices to add materials to the kettle as specified by batch process orders.
Must be able to read and understand recording instruments, pressure gauges, scales, flow meters, panel lights, and other indicators to verify the conformity of process conditions.
Monitor control settings and make necessary adjustments on equipment.
Accurately record production and downtime via written documentation.

This involves the full engineering integration of the company's inhouse products (conveyors, structures and ancillary equipment) with that of specialist third party manufacturers to create a tailored plant layout within the space available without compromising material flow., To work with the Sales team or the Projects team to optimise a layout until it reaches the point of Design Freeze at which the customer signs off the GA to allow full project launch., To ensure design quality, cost, time and standardisation are appropriately considered throughout the design and delivery process, To use SolidWorks and AutoCAD as the main design platforms for the above.Project Engineer / Design Engineer - Project Execution, Be hands-on, pro-active and own the engineering development of a project from initial concept through design, release, manufacturing, testing and commissioning., To model and detail detailed in-house products through to full release to the shopfloor producing detailed manufacturing drawings from 3D models (SolidWorks).
This will involve using the Company's standards library and customising if necessary., To create and release BOM's (Bill of Materials) within the company MRP system., To produce and maintain technical documents for the Engineering and Sales departments, operating manuals, H&S, maintenance etc., To define product technical specifications, both internal design standards and legislative/mandated industry standards., To attend site to take or check measurements, To produce technical specifications for in-house products or those we purchase., To challenge existing designs and manufacturing methods for the benefit of the Company and the customer., To work closely with the Manufacturing department, Project Engineers and Sales team to ensure designed products meet the overall requirements of the business, To provide full engineering support on the project including at site whenever needed and particularly over Installation, Commissioning and Testing., To give full support to the Project Manager over the course of the project and attend site as necessary to ensure the plant/machine is successfully commissioned and customer is delighted.Assessment and Improvement Duties, Assess which sales and/or project layouts worked well, and which did not in order to improve the design process for next time., Work on the continuous improvement of existing products and processes.
, Make any necessary adjustments to designs to reduce costs wherever possible., To analyse the costings of our proposals and projects in comparison to our competitors' Proposals to unlock the differences between what is being offered in order help the Company's Sales department become more effective with its own proposals., To remove cost from our proposals by working continuously toward smarter solutions, tighter designs, alternative third-party suppliers and new processing concepts.
