Position Overview
As a Multiskilled Shift Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, contributing to output and efficiency.
Your expertise in providing front-line maintenance support will be instrumental in maintaining production continuity and adhering to engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide front-line maintenance support to ensure machine output and efficiency
- Take corrective action for production continuity and assist in safe correction/replacement of electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment
- Conduct routine plant inspections and perform preventative maintenance via SAP
- Overhaul and repair components, undertake system improvements, and maintain equipment to engineering standards
- Complete defect reports, accept training, assist with drawings, and action safety hazards
- Liaise with departments for repairs, support continuous improvement, and carry out tasks during shutdowns/overtime
- Undertake risk assessments and organise absence cover

Influence and motivate others to attend to, participate in and own local continuous improvement efforts and initiatives.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined objectives.
Develop, monitor, and communicate project plans, timelines, and budgets with key stakeholders.

Teach, lead and coach cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse groups.
Solve Practical problems where only limited standardization exists.
Interprets instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work with mathematical concepts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

The Role of the (Graduate Sales Engineer)
Initially coming in as a Graduate Sales Engineer with a fast track to moving up to Senior Sales Engineer within circa 2 years.
As the Graduate Sales Engineer you will be responsible for dealing with technical enquiries and working on projects for Safety and Control Valves.
Selling across the company’s range of Safety Relief, Pressure Relief & Control Valves into the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pulp, Paper and Food & Beverage industries dealing with End Users, OEM’s and distributors.
Day to day you will be answering phone call and emails speaking to distributors in multiple countries supporting purchases.
Assisting representatives in other countries with commercial or technical help as well as assisting with ad hoc tasks with the Technical Sales Manager and Project Managers from time to time.
The Ideal Person for the (Senior Internal Technical Sales Engineer)
