As our Maintenance Supervisor you will be to maximize availability of all plant and equipment while complying with safety, legislative, environmental and certifying authority requirements by ensuring efficient preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising activities of maintenance personnel, providing recommendations for solutions to maintenance problems, verifying completed work meets applicable requirements; and recommending operating and capital budget items.

Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel.
Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance.
Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
Investigate accidents and injuries, and prepare reports of findings.
Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
Compile operational and personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test results.
Develop, implement, and evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
Counsel employees about work-related issues and assist employees to correct job-skill deficiencies.
Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.

Required Experience:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or industrial technology preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
Demonstrated leadership in the following areas: preventative maintenance, implementing continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, safety, standard work and employee coaching & development.
Experience with CMMS required.
PSM (Process Safety Management) and or TCPA experience preferred.
Must possess good verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
Experience in ISO 9001:2008 environment preferred.

Supervised and unsupervised learning

Description of the Factory Manager
Responsible for the overall management of manufacturing sites covering engineering, maintenance, H&S, Logistics and manufacturing operations
Overall headcount between 90-110 reports, Direct and lead direct reports across the site, Accountable for all QHSE and 5s initiatives across the sites.
Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the departments and delivering Morning meetings with delivery of Toolbox Talks
Drive a continuous improvement mind-set within plant environment, Control all costs that directly affect the plants performance.
Key Roles and Requirements of the Factory Manager
Worked at a Site General Manager, Plant manager, Operations manager, factory manager, Senior Production Manager or equivalent experience.
Substantial experience gained in a senior level operations role within a complex, results orientated environment
Able to demonstrate track record of success in a changing, fast moving environment with a heavy Project focus
Ability to clearly identify bottlenecks within a manufacturing process, capable of quickly interpreting and 'owning' the process and able to extrapolate the detail
Highly KPI orientated - capable of achieving over and above expectations, use the information to create further business growth/development
Essential Experience needed for the Factory Manager
Experience ideally within Kaizen, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing with NEBOSH desirable IOSH essential
Be able to deliver Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports into the Operations Director and Working with and alongside Senior Leadership stakeholders within the business
Previously worked within Manufacturing liaising with Production, HSE, Quality, Warehousing and Engineering

The Role
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of high-precision mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies within a controlled cleanroom environment.
You will support the build, test, and validation of complex engineered systems, ensuring all components meet strict quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components to engineering drawings and specifications
- Carry out specialist wiring and electrical testing of precision sub-assemblies
- Maintain cleanroom assembly standards and procedures
- Support the transition of new products from NPI into full production
- Create and update manufacturing instructions and build documentation
- Record and maintain test data, serial numbers, and quality control information

Candidate Profile

- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
- Experience in low-volume, high-precision or bespoke manufacturing environment
- Comfortable with fine assembly, hand fitting, and specialist wiring tasks
- Able to work under pressure and meet defined production deadlines
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience working with high-technology or cleanroom manufacturing environments (desirable)
- Familiarity with precision instrumentation or advanced scientific equipment
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (desirable)
- Occasional travel to client sites may be required (planned in advance, expenses covered)
- Due to location, a full driving licence is required

The Role
As a Graduate Production Engineer, you will support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and help define and improve manufacturing methods, ensuring designs are optimised for quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure across engineering, production, and continuous improvement within a highly technical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the NPI process and assist in defining manufacturing routes and processes
- Assist with optimisation of designs for manufacture, quality, and efficiency
- Maintain and update BOMs, routes, and production data within the ERP system
- Support the quoting process with technical input and cost estimation
- Assist in identifying process improvements and cost reduction opportunities

- Support CAD activities including 3D modelling and 2D production drawings

- Support customer and supplier technical queries
- Assist with training others on ERP systems and manufacturing processes
- Gain hands-on knowledge of complex assemblies and precision manufacturing processes
Candidate Profile
- Degree or HNC in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Some experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- CAD experience with proficiency in MS Office
- Hands-on approach with the ability to build and assemble components
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Open-minded, proactive, and keen to develop within a technical environment

This will involve working as part of a skilled team responsible for the installation of cable, control systems and various types of instrumentation onto bespoke machinery. Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful Electrical Fitter can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate. For the Electrical Fitter position, we are keen to hear from individuals who possess the following:
Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.) and IDEALLY 18th edition qualification
Previous experience working within an engineering, production, factory, industrial or manufacturing environment
The ability to read, interpret and work directly from schematics & drawings
ADVANTAGEOUS: Previous experience working with armoured cable
Working Hours of the Electrical Fitter 37 Per week, spread across a day shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30
Friday - 07:00 to 12:30
In return, the Electrical Fitter will receive:
Pay Rates (Umbrella PAYE): Base £28.63 / Overtime: £42.95
Incentive Payment: £1,000.00 for every successful 3-month period worked
Overtime: Frequently available paid at time & a half and double time (Sundays only)
Assignment Duration: 3 Month rolling assignment (often extended and sometimes offered permanent, but not guaranteed)
Access to onsite facilities including: subsidised canteen, gym and free parking
