As our Maintenance Supervisor you will be to maximize availability of all plant and equipment while complying with safety, legislative, environmental and certifying authority requirements by ensuring efficient preventive and corrective maintenance, supervising activities of maintenance personnel, providing recommendations for solutions to maintenance problems, verifying completed work meets applicable requirements; and recommending operating and capital budget items.

Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skill of personnel.

Required Experience:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or industrial technology preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
Demonstrated leadership in the following areas: preventative maintenance, implementing continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, safety, standard work and employee coaching & development.
Experience with CMMS required.
PSM (Process Safety Management) and or TCPA experience preferred.
Must possess good verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
Experience in ISO 9001:2008 environment preferred.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION DUTIES/TASKS:
Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation
Production tank/Cleaning/filling
1.
Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples.
This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum.
2.
Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags.
Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area.
3.
Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank.
4.
Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste.
5.
Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste."
6.
Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately.
7.
When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste."
REQUISITE SKILL, EDUCATION, OR OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge and understanding of the chemical characteristics of the wastes which they are assigned to handle or control (i.e., flammability, toxics, incompatibilities, etc.).

Type of protective equipment and clothing to be worn.

5.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
A well-established and fast-growing business based in Enfield is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the leadership team during an exciting period of operational and financial transformation.

THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:

Production of monthly management accounts, board reporting packs, financial analysis, and operational KPI reporting
Lead all budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning activities across the business
Provide commercial insight and financial business partnering support to senior leadership and departmental managers
In collaboration with key stakeholders, implementing KPI measures and dashboards across the busienss, to create visability and commercial drive across the business
Drive continuous improvement across financial controls, reporting accuracy, and finance processes
Support the transition from Sage onto a modern ERP platform, alongside the development of live reporting dashboards and MI tools
Oversee weekly and monthly payroll operations
Full responsibility for the fixed asset register, including depreciation of high-value assets such as machinery, fleet, and operational equipment
Manage quarterly VAT returns and support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
Work closely with external accountants and the Group Finance Director on reporting, analysis, and ad hoc finance projects
Review and improve bonus structures, reward frameworks, and financial performance metrics
THE PERSON:
Must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified is essential
Currently working as a Financial Controller, or operating at a senior level within finance such as Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Senior Management Accountant, or Finance Business Partner
Previous experience managing a small finance team and taking ownership of monthly management accounts
Strong SME background, ideally within businesses up to circa £80m turnover
Industry experience within sectors such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, Logistics, Distribution, Transport, Wholesale
Excellent systems knowledge, with previous ERP implementation or finance systems migration experience highly desirable
Strong Excel and reporting skills, with exposure to Power BI or similar dashboard/reporting tools advantageous
Commercially astute with strong communication skills and the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders across the business
