Design the work flow of a manufacturing process considering takt time, capacity, quality targets, staffing levels and equipment available.
Work with toolmakers and equipment providers to deliver new manufacturing requirements on NPI projects.
Release technical specifications that clearly communicate the performance characteristics and geometry that need to be delivered by the supplier.
Obtain written evidence of feasibility approval from tooling and equipment suppliers against any defined requirement whether formal or informal.
Generate 3D & 2D CAD solutions using CATIA V5.
Experience/Skills required for this Manufacturing Engineer job based in Nottingham:
Provable experience in a similar role
Minimum HND qualification in Engineering discipline
Working knowledge of Core tools used in Automotive (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP & SPC)

The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant.

Perform safety vent calculations for process upset conditions. Determine the correct control systems and interlocks to safely operate the process. Participate in plantwide process safety programs. LEAN Culture Use knowledge of existing processes to propose process modifications which will reduce waste.
