GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Manager (Laboratory) leverages expertise to execute and direct projects across technology platforms while striving to improve efficiencies of involved processes.
This includes coordinating activities to support product development, marketing, and training regarding product system performance.
As such, they should have knowledge relating to various UL, FM, ASTMs pertaining to building envelope construction products.
The Manager (Laboratory) is expected to effectively communicate project updates to influence both strategic tactical business discussions.
They oversee and mentor junior staff members in the completion of their tasks and developmental goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and supervise product or system testing that supports intradepartmental and cross functional business initiatives.
Responsible for developing and managing the department's budget.
Lead multiple project activities through a defined testing process.
Oversee the design of experiments to evaluate and optimize the performance attributes of various technologies/chemistries.
Understand process capability, design selection criteria, and regulatory requirements needed to support third party certification, iterative product development, and market focused product evaluations.
Presents information instructionally, demonstratively, and persuasively to Influence tactical and strategic discussions amongst peers and management effectively.
Assures and validates proper documentation of responsible technical and/or experimental activities.
Explores conceptual ideas relating to the refinement of test protocols to improve process efficiency or the creation of new processes to support product development and/or regulatory demands.
Guide, coach, and mentor direct reports, both Supervisors and individual contributors, in achieving defined goals while providing developmental opportunities.
Collaboratively engages stakeholders to guide development or overcome challenges.
Acts as a liaison between third party test facilities (UL, FM, etc.) and the company.
Excellent presentation skills for tours.
Oversees maintenance of all equipment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: 4-year degree inBuilding Science, Construction Science and Management, or Engineering or related.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
5+ years' experience
Experience with UL, FM and ASTM building products.
Preferred fire testing experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 lbs.

JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The WTI Field Resources Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the timely delivery of services, profitability, and all employee management and training within their respective region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with the Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) for staffing and scheduling of all WTI Field Resources Reps (Field Reps) in their respective region to ensure proper utilization of manpower on specific jobs for the highest profitability.
Collaborate with other Supervisors as necessary.
Oversee the Quality Control (QC) process in conjunction with the Quality Control Specialist (QCS) of all the Field Reps in the region, which will include random site visits to current and previous job sites and proper documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.
Ensure profitability within the region by monitoring and managing employee expenses for accuracy and abuse, use of overtime hours, and all full-time personnel's billable time to meet the required percentage.
The Supervisor should stress the profitability factor to all field personnel.
Field all questions and concerns from the Field Reps and handle all discrepancies between the Field Reps and the Sales Reps.
Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, text message, voicemail, or in person) with the customers, Sales Reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.
Be the primary contact for the office personnel if there are any issues concerning a Field Rep.
Ensure all Field Reps will have a professional appearance and demeanor while completing services for a customer.
Conduct and/or assist with the training (both hands-on field training and classroom setting) for the Field Reps, according to the WTI Training Policy, to include: Proper completion of all services and related paperwork. Safety training and training documentation for all Field Reps within the region. Approval and certification of each Field Rep, including, but not limited to, OSHA Hazard Awareness, Toolbox Talks, etc.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services provided.
Manage, monitor, and document the performance of Field Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with the Regional Business Manager (RBM) and HR as needed.
Work with the HR and Recruiting department to hire all new personnel.
Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the corporate office on a timely basis.
Conduct new employee orientation for all new hires, including training on all company policies, administrative processes, procedures, and required technical and safety information.
Handle all administrative matters and corresponding paperwork within the region, including, but not limited to, expense management, monthly sales projections, Field Tech time management, status reports, bidding jobs with Reps, large job sign-offs, project documentation, etc.
Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
Attend all required calls and meetings.
Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the RBM.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 30-hour OSHA certification (The company will provide it if needed.) Registered Roof Observer (RRO) is preferred but not required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Qualifications: Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks. Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills. Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.
Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining quality control.
Functional computer skills.
Safety training and OSHA knowledge. Understanding of budgeting and expense management.

The Role of Internal Salesperson
Sales Support & CRM Management – Support the office and external sales team by managing the CRM, monitoring spending and dormant accounts, and ensuring accurate use of order processing and credit control systems.
Business Development & Account Management – Generate new business and manage existing accounts within a defined area, ensuring growth in line with company objectives and KPIs.
Customer & Supplier Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, responding promptly and professionally to all enquiries.
Marketing & Database Management – Proactively organise and update databases, distribute stock notes, and assist in marketing activities to support sales growth.
Performance & Training – Consistently meet company targets and KPIs while embracing ongoing training to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.

The Site Energy Manager will drive all energy strategy and decarbonisation efforts.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.
The Site Energy Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient provision of power and steam to support the continuous operation of the plant and associated utilities.
This role encompasses leading the site's energy strategy, upholding health, safety, environmental, and legal compliance standards, and driving the Energy Reduction Plan aligned with ISO 50001.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of power generation assets, including CHP and boilers
- Develop and execute the site's CO2 reduction roadmap, securing buy-in from the leadership team
- Manage capital planning for asset replacement and secure funding for net-zero objectives
- Optimise energy consumption and on-site generation, driving the site's Energy Reduction Plan
- Ensure compliance with national and site-wide energy schemes (UKETS, CCA, Capacity Market, EII exemptions)
- Manage R&M budgets, control operational costs, and ensure timely and accurate reporting to various agencies
- Lead and develop the Energy Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy) or a related technical discipline
- Experience in energy management, carbon reduction projects, and power generation
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, gas and fluid systems, and biogas as a fuel
- Familiarity with end-to-end maintenance and compliance requirements of power generation
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organise self and others, influence effectively, and deliver projects from concept to commissioning
- Desirable: BOAS (Management Level), ISO 50001 Internal Auditor, APM PMQ, or CEng status
