This is a full-time, permanent with homebased working and travel required across Bristol and surrounding area.

About the job
Supporting and supervising 10-12 foster families across Bristol and surrounding area with complex needs
Undertaking initial visits and completing Form F assessments
Providing post-approval support to foster carers
Working collaboratively with children, carers, and multi-agency professionals
Delivering training and group work where required
Ensuring practice meets relevant fostering legislation and National Minimum Standards
Attending staff meetings, team away days, and participating in the out-of-hours rota
About you
The successful candidate will have a social work degree with post qualification experience within fostering, family placements, or children's social work whilst having an up-to-date understanding of relevant fostering legislation and regulations.
There is potential for this role to become permanent as the service continues to grow across the South West.

Responsible for helping drive product innovation and technology advancements throughout all product groups.
Responsibilities:
Develop and formulate new concrete and cement additives Develop extensive understanding of cementitious systems and cement/additive interactions Evaluate new or alternative raw material sources for concrete and cement additives Conduct frequent literature review, including recent concrete industry publications, new technology/innovation articles, and patent searches Communicate new product ideas, technologies, innovations, etc., with other lab personnel, marketing, operations Conduct laboratory studies testing concrete, cement additives, concrete admixtures, including mixing concrete, preparing additive samples, and testing plastic and hardened properties of concrete/mortar Work with analytical and petrographic teams to share and develop knowledge on portland cement, IL, IP, IT, LC3, supplementary cementitious materials, etc., and their interactions with concrete and cement additives Participate in industry committees and organizations such as ASTM and ACI Present research internally to technical, marketing, sales, and operations groups, and externally to industry publications and organizations Regular computer use including internet research, SAP, excel, powerpoint, etc.

Here's what you can expect every day:
Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including pumps, motors, filling and packaging equipment, conveyors, palletizers, piping, valves, tanks, agitators, drives, gearboxes, and utilities.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements as well as to ensure equipment reliability.
Work with filling line operators to efficiently change over line equipment for different label, container, and packaging sizes.
Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) on the filling lines by Pareto analysis of OEE data and implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce downtime.
Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition.
Schedule needed repairs to have minimum interference with operations.
Troubleshoot/repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Comply with company safety rules and procedures.
Complete daily and shift clean up tasks.
Communicate results/ concerns/ issues with supervisor and co-workers.
Ensure shift to shift hand-off is complete.
Support and complete small capital projects.
Required Experience:
3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environment; preferably in chemical/paint manufacturing
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have expertise in packaging equipment, plumbing, and pipefitting, with skills in electrical work and instrument calibration considered a definite plus
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex packaging and material-handling equipment is required
Ability to do basic math.
Accurately enter and retrieve computer data.
Ability to operate machinery
Ability to solve problems in a team environment.
Active participation in our Continuous Improvement Process.
Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
Willing to work overtime as required
