This role has come about due to continued growth within a long-established, independent insurance brokerage.
The business has a strong presence in the region and is now looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler to the Sheffield team.
You'll be joining a settled, supportive environment where people work closely together and take pride in delivering a good service to long-standing clients.
What You'll Be Walking Into
You'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of commercial clients, working across multiple classes including property, liability, and motor.
The role covers the full servicing cycle, from renewals and MTAs through to documentation and day-to-day client queries.
You'll deal directly with insurers to negotiate terms, keep records up to date on Acturis, and make sure clients understand their cover and feel properly looked after.
The focus is on accuracy, consistency, and building long-term client relationships rather than rushing volume.
Hybrid working is in place, with a mix of office and home working once you're settled into the role.
This position suits someone who enjoys responsibility, likes managing their own workload, and wants to be part of a team that values experience and collaboration.

To maintain appropriate, regular contact with existing customers and ensure their insurance requirements continue to be met in line with service levels.
In conjunction with the manager of the construction division, prepare and agree any forecasts, targets, plans and budgets for your respective area of work in order to establish clear work targets.
To work closely with Account Executives and other Account Handlers where necessary, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Make certain that files, notes and other records are clear, complete, up to date and available to other staff standing during periods of absence, in order to maintain high levels of client service and accuracy of documentation.
To act at all times within the FCA Principles for Business and to comply with FCA and internal procedures at all times in order to ensure the company meets it's responsibilities in this area
To assist the wider Division and Broking team with London Market presence and with placing via Lloyds.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience in a Commercial Insurance Account Handler
Property, Retail, Combined Packages & D&O insurance experience preferred but not essential would be very advantageous.

An opportunity has arisen for a Block Manager to join a well-established property management company specialising in the professional management of residential blocks, including maintenance, service charges, and leaseholder support.
As a Block Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance, smooth operations, and excellent client service.
This full-time permanent role is office-based offering a salary of £35,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
* Acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders, freeholders, residents, and contractors.
* Coordinating maintenance, repair works, and inspections, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Preparing and managing service charge budgets, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring financial records are accurate.
* Liaising with surveyors, contractors, and consultants for major works projects.
* Maintaining detailed records of contracts, inspections, insurance, and communications.
* Supporting residents' meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
* Managing insurance claims and handling ad-hoc issues such as parking management.
What we are looking for
* Previously worked as Property Manager, Block Manager, Portfolio Manager, Estate Manager or in a similar role.
* Ideally have 2 years of experience in block or property management.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
* Practical problem-solver with a proactive approach.
* Full UK driving licence and your own car.
