Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an ambitious Graduate Production Engineer to support NPI, manufacturing optimisation, CAD activities, process improvement, and projects.
The Role
As a Graduate Production Engineer, you will support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process and help define and improve manufacturing methods, ensuring designs are optimised for quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure across engineering, production, and continuous improvement within a highly technical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the NPI process and assist in defining manufacturing routes and processes
- Assist with optimisation of designs for manufacture, quality, and efficiency
- Maintain and update BOMs, routes, and production data within the ERP system
- Support the quoting process with technical input and cost estimation
- Assist in identifying process improvements and cost reduction opportunities
- Help create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation
- Support ECN reviews and implementation of engineering changes
- Assist with root cause analysis and 8D/NCR investigations, supporting corrective actions
- Support CAD activities including 3D modelling and 2D production drawings
- Assist in the design of fixtures and manufacturing aids
- Contribute to DFMEA/PFMEA activities in line with PPAP processes
- Support customer and supplier technical queries
- Assist with training others on ERP systems and manufacturing processes
- Gain hands-on knowledge of complex assemblies and precision manufacturing processes
Candidate Profile
- Degree or HNC in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Some experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- CAD experience with proficiency in MS Office
- Hands-on approach with the ability to build and assemble components
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
- Open-minded, proactive, and keen to develop within a technical environment
- Occasional travel to client sites may be required (planned in advance, expenses covered)
- Due to location, a full driving licence is required

This is a Managing Director Designate role, offering a structured, supportive and fast track transition into full MD responsibility.
You will initially work alongside the current Managing Director in a mentoring-led handover, gaining deep insight into the business, its people, customers, and growth strategy — before assuming full MD status.
The remit is broad, autonomous, and commercially driven:
Lead and grow the UK / HQ business
Drive sales, marketing, and commercial strategy
Own operational performance and financial outcomes
Develop people, culture, and leadership capability
Represent the business at board and shareholder level

A commercially sharp, people-centric leader with the ambition, gravitas, and capability to run a business in its entirety.
You will most likely come from the MRO Supply Chain, Engineering Supplies, Industrial Equipment or allied product supply industries and already operate at Senior Leadership level, with a clear upward career trajectory toward MD.
Your Background Will Include:
Senior leadership experience within the market sector you are in.
Strong understanding of complex distribution routes to market and fragmented supply chains.
A proven record of Sales growth and Commercial performance.
Experience managing a business or business unit with real accountability.
Exposure to international trading environments (desirable).
Strong analytical and IT capability, able to turn data into actionable strategy.
A passion for technology and technical products.
The gravitas and confidence to influence at board and owner level.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Machine Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Machine Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
