ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join a leading manufacturing company based in the East Yorkshire area.
As the Lead Quality Control Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and process control for the site.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Lead Quality Control Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.
Continuously plan, organise, and perform routine QC analysis of incoming material, in-process, and finished process samples in accordance with documented testing methodology.
2.
Make daily decisions on QC results, utilising problem-solving skills to ensure only accurate results are accepted, which could have a minor impact on the business.
3.
Proactively identify and initiate continuous improvements to products and systems used within QC.
4.
Carry out short-term projects involving non-routine analysis, including customer complaint investigations, which may require problem-solving based on vague information and knowledge of site products.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Lead Quality Control Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.
Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.
2.
Proven industry experience in quality control or analytical chemistry.
3.
A working knowledge and practical experience with site analytical techniques such as titration, weighing, pipetting, making up reagents/standards, use of GC.
