Our established client is looking for a skilled Machine Tool Fitter/Service Engineer to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands, within a reasonable commute of their Nuneaton office.
The ideal candidate should have experience in installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing manual metal cutting machinery, with skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
This is a practical role requiring both technical knowledge and strong customer service in different industrial settings.
Other job titles could include: Machine Tool Engineer, CNC Service Engineer, CNC Maintenance Engineer, Machine Tool Maintenance or similar.
The Role - Machine Tool Fitter:
- Perform routine maintenance on manual metal cutting machines to keep them running smoothly.
- Fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in the workshop or at customer sites.
- Replace faulty parts (motors, gears, belts, electrical components)
- Install/ fit new parts.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues.
- Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and on-site help.
- Offer advice on machine performance, efficiency, and upgrades.
- Work with clients to ensure machines meet their needs and provide high-quality service.
- Keep detailed records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance.
- Write reports for customers on work completed, parts replaced, and machine performance.
- Follow safety rules and industry standards during maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure machines meet safety standards and run efficiently to avoid breakdowns and accidents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering ongoing support and advice.
Key Candidate Requirements - Machine Tool Fitter:
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC service, breakdown or maintenance experience
- Experience stripping down gearboxes, spindles, and/or cross-lighting machines
- CNC machine tools/metal cutting experience
- BTEC Level 3 or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent time-served experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and machine tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Flexibility to travel and work at various customer locations as needed.

I am seeking a Project Manager in the Building Construction industry who has fluent German or at least German at C1 level and good English to join a firm of construction consultants in Germany to join their busy and friendly office in Munich.
You will work closely with a senior project manager or Associate project manager to help with the delivery of high value building projects.

THE CANDIDATE
You will be Degree qualified in a construction related subject e.g.
Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering or other Building Construction subject.
You may be chartered or be working towards chartered status in project management.
You are likely to be at Assistant or Junior Project Manager level currently with a year or two PM experience.
You will be keen to progress your career with a firm of consultants doing project management and project co-ordination.
You will need to have had some experience in the use of MS Project or Primavera or similar.
Ideally you will have been working for a firm of building construction consultants or worked client-side.
You must have an understanding of commercial and economic aspects of construction projects for budgets, cash flow etc.
You will need fluent or at least good German at C1 level.
Good English is also required.
Good communication skills are essential and to have the ability to deal with people at all levels.
You should be able to run projects with the help of a Senior Project Manager.
Salary is negotiable according to experience but in the region of Euro 50000 to 65000 per annum depending on your experience plus other benefits including a discretionary bonus scheme.

Ideally will have good exposure to Tissue Viability
A ‘go getter’, who will proactively open and close opportunities
Must be sales focussed

Specific Requirements: Establish and maintain professional relationships with partners, suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers. Review and plan materials forecasting and usage and ensure supplier understanding of PO requirements for long-term product availability. Prepare and submit the required documentation to establish credit terms with vendors and contractors. Monitor and track the quality of service provided and supplier performance, driving improvements in timely delivery, quality conformance, and compliance. Compose POs, verify availability, coordinate delivery dates, monitor shipments and back orders, expedite deliveries, and communicate status and ETAs to the team and partners to support target production dates. Maintain and update procurement data in the ERP system Ensure sufficient stock quantities are maintained to support demands. Assess the life of inventory (regular, aging, excess, EOL, etc.) and prepare reports to upper management regularly. Maintain cross-functional communication to ensure awareness of material additions, changes in specifications, and supplier changes. Identify cost-reduction opportunities. Minimum Requirements:
