GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Maintenance Technician supports and ensures the completion of day-to-day maintenance activities at the plant.
The position provides support to leadership for all maintenance staff to drive excellence and maximize effort.
The position focuses on maintaining high-quality standards through the efforts expended at the facility that meet and exceed customer expectations while maintaining a professional and equally efficient environment for all production employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform standard work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Inspect and repair plant equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation, and controls to minimize downtime.
Document accurate maintenance activity records.
Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools to ensure proper functionality.
Participate in the continuous improvement process.
Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.
Exemplify the expected values of the organization, including following policies and standard work procedures.
Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.
Perform Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure completion and accuracy.
Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Cross-train on other production functions to aid as business needs dictate.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
One-year certificate from college, technical school, or manufacturing training program.
One additional year of experience plus a high school diploma/GED in lieu of higher education is acceptable.
Two additional years of experience in lieu of formal education is acceptable.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Maintenance Technician II: 1+ year of experience
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Capable of installing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC; AC/DC drive motors preferred
Ability to troubleshoot electric, air systems, and hydraulic systems
Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash requirements, confined space entry and hot work permit
Ability to work overtime as needed; ability to meet deadlines
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond urgently to down equipment
Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner
Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English

Title: Testing Technician
Summary:
Support the Research & Development laboratory team in the development, modification, and evaluation of high-performance corrosion-resistant coatings, linings, and fireproofing products.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s).
Routinely meet or exceed production output rates per standards.
Ensure product meets certain tolerances and specifications.
Perform routine inspections per quality standards.
Understand production instructions.
Maintain accurate paperwork.
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.
Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: No formal education required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: No prior experience or training.

FinishWorks is seeking a mechanically inclined Equipment Technician to join our growing team in Shipshewana, Indiana.
This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial paint and coating application equipment while providing exceptional support to both customers and our sales team.

What You'll Do
Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer-owned coating application equipment.
Perform equipment repairs both in our facility and at customer locations.
Assist customers and sales personnel with equipment-related questions and solutions.
Travel to customer sites for installations, service calls, and troubleshooting as needed.
Prepare equipment recommendations and quotations based on customer needs.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
Identify opportunities to support customer growth and equipment sales.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
Required
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Preferred
Experience with industrial paint and coating equipment, including brands such as Graco, Kremlin, or DeVilbiss.
Knowledge of hazardous material handling and related safety practices.
Forklift experience or willingness to complete training.
Industrial maintenance, equipment repair, automotive repair, or similar technical experience.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Batch Maker is responsible for processing Tremco Sealants and/or Roofing products by carefully reading and following the process order card.
This position maintains area readiness to produce.
This includes safety, and the collection and preparation of materials like pails, drums, and other chemical raw materials.
Once a batch is complete, the operator will test for quality, adjust as needed to assure specifications are met by following written standard operating procedures, and then fill product into specified packaging and palletize pails or drums.
We are currently looking for an individual to fill a Temporary Batch Maker position at our manufacturing plant in Medina, Ohio.
If the employee meets certain criteria over a period, this position could become a regular full-time position.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Handles batch-making responsibilities in all departments.
Trained to make all formulations- i.e., Roof coating, Latex, and Solvent departments.
Responsible for housekeeping in the work area.
Reports raw material/equipment needs to the Production Manager.
Helps maintain inventory levels/cycle counts.
Fills batches according to need- i.e., 1's, 5's, 55's or totes (domestic or export).
Operates tow motor.
Shop floor reporting.
Submit a batch sample to the QC lab for approval and retain it before filling.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Computer literacy is required; a basic understanding of ERP systems like SAP is helpful.
Able to work independently in a team-based lean/six sigma environment and contribute to the team's overall success.
Preferred background in the Chemical Industry with batch-making experience.
Demonstrated safe work record.
Demonstrated reliable attendance.
