GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Starting in the Felt Department or Roofing Department of the East 80th Cleveland Manufacturing Plant, the Operator will start up, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and routinely, while achieving or exceeding standard levels of production, according to specifications.
This position can turn into a regular, full-time, union position if the employee completes the probationary period.
During the probationary period, this position will work on the 1st Shift.
If the employee successfully completes the probationary period and becomes a regular employee, the position will most likely change to 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on the Plant's needs.
3-SHIFT FACILITY:
1st Shift: 6 a.m.
to 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 2 p.m.
to 10:30 p.m.
(Shift Differential of $0.75)
3rd Shift: 10 p.m.
to 6:30 a.m.
(Shift Differential of $1.00)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs work safely, according to safety rules and guidelines, and follows Tremco's Escalation Policy for any safety or quality concerns.
Communicates with Team Lead and/or Supervisor during shift changes and throughout shift.
Understands and operates the HMI at the various stations along the line to keep the line operating safely and efficiently.
Monitors weight, speed, and other metrics along the line.
Operates forklift to move raw materials, load carrier, and move finished product.
Makes raw material batches in the appropriate mixer(s), according to specifications.
Performs quality control tests on the batches, per established guidelines.
Ensures proper labels are being used on the taping machine.
Fills appropriate-sized pails, drums, or totes, labels filled items, and places pails/drums on pallet.
Performs daily housekeeping/cleaning of immediate area and other surrounding areas and departments, as needed.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No prior education or experience required.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or similar industry experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of mathematics-i.e., addition, subtraction, fractions, etc.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
Forklift Certificate and operations experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Advocate for necessary changes by researching and re-imagining how we execute through different tech solutions. Establish metrics and benchmark data, develop reports for specific programs, and report outcomes to internal and external stakeholders. Continually explore ways to engage with the business and build new relationships. Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers and stakeholders. System Monitoring & Incident Management
Monitor system health, performance, and connectivity in partnership with corporate IT. Proactively identify issues or potential issues and escalate to the appropriate team(s) for recurring or critical issues. Monitor and follow-up on escalated issues. If required, identify, implement and train on any required workarounds until issues are resolved. Log, track, and resolve support tickets from Service Now or other communication methods. Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions for analytics.
Mobile App Support
Assist end users with mobile app setup, usage, and troubleshooting. If/When applicable, ensure proper syncing between mobile and backend systems.
Testing & Validation

Commercial Roofing Foreman
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct the daily onsite safety brief prior to the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer and the WTI Crew.
Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.

This includes but is not limited to communication with: Sales Rep on weekly/daily schedule WTI crew members to discuss scope of work and daily tasks The customer pre-arrival, at arrival and at completion of the day's work WTI Supervisor on schedule changes, project, and crew updates, etc. Efficient project management will include managing crew start and end times and production rates, ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently, and completing the project per the scope or work or specification. The WTI Foreman will complete an end of day and/or end of project walk through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site.
Before and after pictures will be sent to the Sales Rep and information will be sent daily on project status.
These items will include, detailed work performed updates, materials consumed, and supplies purchases are all recording daily. Ensure that all WTI Field Reps will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer. The Field Resource Foreman is responsible for the ordering, tracking, and monitoring inventory and ensure Quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely. Per pricing procedures review each field service project over $5,000 for pricing accuracy. Submit all projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor prior to submitting to the Sales Rep or customer. Manage, monitor, and document performance of Field Resource Reps and take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
Consult with WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources as needed. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum five years' experience in the commercial roofing industry. Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems as well as metal and other steep slope roofing systems and how to properly repair them. Job Duties:
Sales - this job is all about increasing market share by selling the Rust-Oleum Portfolio of products in their assigned geographic territory.
Increase distribution of all Rust-Oleum brands within the assigned dealer and distributor base by expanding market share and reducing competitive presence.
Maintain regular contact with customers to identify business opportunities and increase market share.
Identify customer needs to facilitate product mix t and platform recommendations.
Achieve profitable quarterly sales objectives and goals.
Execute category management strategies with dealer base to grow market share.
Develop and follow a comprehensive time and territory management plan to maximize coverage and efficiently manage expenses.
Provide merchandising, pricing, and promotional support to the dealer base.
Work with internal and external customers to meet all commitments and deadlines.
The ability to use all Microsoft Office products to analyze data, communicate with customers, and make profitable recommendations to internal and external customers.
Able to climb a ladder and do physical activities as required by the position.
Requirements:
1 - 3 years of previous outside sales experience preferrable in paints & coatings
Associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
Prior experience in a sales service role with demonstrated success in customer retention.
Requires the ability to effectively analyze a customer's business and successfully communicate how our products and services can help them increase their sales and profits.
Ability to analyze data and complete a Profit & Loss analysis as required.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
Self-starter able to manage own time, schedule, and sales territory, with a proven ability to multitask.
Ability to work and travel within assigned territory 40-50% of the time.
Periodic evening and weekend hours are required for trade shows and customer events.
Proven history of exceptional follow-up skills.
Proven history of working with diverse customer base including independent dealers, distributors, MRO accounts, professional painting contractors and OEM.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format.
Ability to analyze territory performance reports and develop sales territory business plans.
Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and write reports to communicate the information.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Excel
Experience using analytics such as Power BI, SAP and PowerPoint is desired
Salary Target Range: $75,000 - $90,000
