About the role
You'll provide professional, compliant and client-focused mortgage and protection advice, building trusted, long-term relationships and managing cases from initial enquiry through to completion and beyond.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing mortgage and protection advice tailored to individual client needs
Completing fact-finds, affordability assessments and appropriate product research
Managing mortgage and protection applications through to completion
Maintaining accurate client records and compliant file notes
Liaising with lenders, providers, solicitors, estate agents and other professionals
Building strong client relationships and developing repeat and referral business
Developing your own client bank with leads and support from the wider business
Managing your own diary, workload and pipeline
About you
As Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you'll need:
CeMAP 1, 2 and 3, Cert CII (MP), or an equivalent recognised mortgage qualification
Experience providing regulated mortgage advice
Experience providing protection advice alongside mortgage recommendations
A sound understanding of mortgage products, lender criteria and the regulatory environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisation and case-management skills
The confidence to work independently whilst being an active part of the wider team
