JOB DESCRIPTION
As our Filling Line Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, adjusting, and performing quality control (QC) checks while tending to machines & hand-fills to package paint in a safe, consistent and efficient manner according to specifications.
In addition, the Filling Line Operator is responsible for reading and following the bill of materials, preparing components, following order specifications to determine material and equipment requirements, and assisting with the QC process. Solving challenges is the very foundation of who we are.

Here's what you can expect every day: Perform all filling line machine operation functions related to the filling and packaging of all finished products, including setting up and operating filling line equipment, adhering to production schedule, making equipment adjustments and assisting with line changeover. Maintain quality standards by completing in-process inspection of cans, boxes and other containers. Certify that product weights are measured and recorded correctly; checking to make sure package labels and SKUs are correct. Housekeeping - maintain work area to 5S procedures, trash removal, clean work area and assist in monthly inventory of raw and stock materials as needed. May assist in directing of work activities of temporary employees as required. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Estimator supports the Panelization/Facades and Willseal business segments by providing detailed material takeoffs, project estimates, and technical details for client inquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement processes for estimating, on-screen material takeoff, and scope reviews to provide added value to the extended sales team and client base.
Follow standard operating procedures for project estimating and manufacturing process development.
Prepare all aspects of an estimate including interpreting specifications and architectural drawings, understanding addendums, RFIs, and all other related documents that pertain to the project for bidding purposes.
Interpret the construction schedule for materials to be installed.
Compute overall costs associated with the project (material and panel fabrication) Create and maintain a database for all projects to include all job cost estimate breakdown documentation provided to the project coordination team.
Assist in the development of written text/illustrations for catalog and installation or design support literature for new product launches.
Convert AutoCAD documents to PDF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, WMF, and other file formats.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Associates or Bachelors degree in commercial construction or similar preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of two year's experience in commercial construction, exterior wall cladding, technical service or similar Ability to read and navigate construction documents and building plans is highly preferred Ability to work on site five days a week

Purchasing

Strong SolidWorks design and drawing package skills that meet project deadlines and internal/external customer needs. Demonstrated team leadership with strong communication skills. This level requires the following certifications: SolidWorks CAD Design Professional (CSWP) Manufacturing Engineer II perform broader range of duties, proven skillset to fully perform Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities, more technically complex tasks, expected to set an example of professional efficiency, and provide technical direction to less experienced staff.
