Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst
Location: Vernon Hills, IL

Reports To: Director, Pricing Analytics & Administration

This position is part of the Pricing team and reports to the Director of Pricing Analytics & Administration.
The role is based in Vernon Hills, IL.
Our hybrid work environment includes two (2) remote days/week.
RESPONSIBILITY
Extract and compile customer & product sales data from SAP, Power BI, Data Lake, or all applicable sources to support the overall pricing team.
Build and create profitability analytics models utilizing advanced Excel, Power Pivot and Power Query.
Create impact analytics of different pricing scenarios on revenue and profitability.
Key contributor to pricing changes data compilation, impact analytics, and pricing change performance evaluation at products and accounts level.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses in support of pricing strategy, trade marketing, and product management.
Work with Director of Pricing Analytics to develop & publish periodic price reporting.
Conduct tracking of pricing forecast, price realization, and price opportunity identification.
Work with Director of Pricing Analytics to conduct full lifecycle analysis to understand product value proposition, current or proposed price points, data gathering & cleansing, and deep dive advanced statistical analysis/modeling.
Support the Pricing Strategy team to understand and design complex commercial pricing models leveraging data and analytics to develop and execute pricing strategies across various categories, suppliers, and customer segments.
Support Sales teams operationally through deal support, data gathering through custom dashboard/reports development and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Informatics, or a related field required.
Master's degree or advanced certifications (e.g., analytics, finance, or data science) preferred.
Experience:4+ years of progressive experience in pricing, business analytics, financial analysis, or related roles, with demonstrated success in driving data-driven decisions and supporting cross-functional initiatives
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and full Microsoft Office suite (required)
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms (preferred)
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, SAP or Salesforce (preferred)
Analytical & Business Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Experience supporting pricing strategy, margin analysis, and financial modeling
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Advanced Excel Proficiency requirements:
Complex Formula Development & Troubleshooting: Expertise in building and debugging advanced formulas, including nested functions, and dynamic array solutions
Data Analysis & Summarization: Advanced use of PivotTables and PivotCharts to analyze large datasets and identify trends
Data Modeling & Transformation: Proficiency with Power Query and Power Pivot for data cleansing, transformation, and model creation
Automation & Efficiency: Experience with Macros and VBA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency

Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 annually, bonus eligible

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION DUTIES/TASKS:
Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation
Production tank/Cleaning/filling
1.
Production Quality Lab Technicians may have to dispose of product samples, line flush, off-spec product, or expired product retain samples.
This waste material is transferred to the hazardous waste satellite accumulation drum.
2.
Production workers clean equipment and tanks pre-rinse, wipe, scrub, and final rinse surfaces using wash solvent, brushes and rags.
Dirty solvent is transferred to the satellite accumulation area.
3.
Transfer used wash solvent to the satellite accumulation drum or tank.
4.
Ensure hazardous waste storage or accumulation containers remain sealed except during the addition or removal of waste.
5.
Ensure Hazardous Waste storage containers are clearly labeled "Hazardous Waste."
6.
Care must be exercised when introducing waste into the satellite accumulation drum.
Do not drop on floor or area.
In the case of any spilled material, spills or drops shall be cleaned up immediately.
7.
When 55 gallons has accumulated, the satellite accumulation container must be moved to a permanent hazardous waste storage area within 3 days and relabeled "Hazardous Waste."

Leads the development and implementation of comprehensive regulatory compliance programs in the areas of occupational health and safety, hazardous materials management, environmental management, transportation materials safety, security and product compliance.

Conducts EHS&S audits, documents statistics with respect to EHS&S program compliance, and makes recommendations with respect to annual safety program changes and objectives.
Represents CPG with professional organizations, regulatory bodies and governmental agencies.
Serves as the primary point of contact for Tremco CPG EHS&S business unit operations and associated EHS&S staff.
May act as expert witness in the event of investigations and legal proceedings.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge and relevant documentation with respect to EHS&S rules, regulations and legislation, as applicable to business operations and product mix.
Researches best practices and investigates program innovations, both broadly and with respect to chemicals manufacturing, distribution and disposal, and makes recommendations regarding policy gaps and program improvement opportunities.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
4-10 years' experience leading and contributing to compliance and regulatory policy and program development in a materials processing environment.

RPM end of month reporting based on brand/region analyzing sales trends & PVM effects on margin.

End-of month reporting on Price Effect including validation/analysis against automated tools to ensure no errors across all reports.
Weekly reporting for low-margin items/transactions across all Tremco brands/regions.
Ad-hoc updates to Pricing Master for new items/item updates including all respective updates to price lists and GM% files.
Build out all load files necessary for Ops team to execute.
Includes maintenance for PowerBI price lists + necessary Sharepoint reference files.
Assist Pricing Manager with data validation/testing regarding PowerBI models/dashboards and major IT projects (RPM One, Tremco Data Lake etc.)
Ad-hoc development of PowerBI models/dashboards.
Identify opportunities where PowerBI can be leveraged to automate manual Excel processes/reports.
Execute ad-hoc queries in SQL and build respective Excel reports.

As a Business Analyst, you will gather and define business requirements, improve processes, and support the successful delivery of multiple digital products.

You will be responsible for:
* Gathering and documenting business, operational, technical and user requirements.

What we are looking for:

* Experience within complex digital or multi-product environments.
* Strong experience gathering requirements, producing user stories and mapping business processes.
* Experience supporting Agile software delivery methodologies.
* Background working within healthcare, clinical research, life sciences or another regulated sector.
* Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical teams.
* Experience balancing multiple priorities and translating ambiguous requirements into practical solutions.
* Experience working on customer-facing or participant-facing digital platforms.
* Good understanding of end-to-end customer journeys, workflow optimisation and service design.
