This is a standout opportunity for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to take ownership of complex electrical packages on large-scale, mission-critical builds in the Slough area.
As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be part of a growing Building Services team within a globally recognised business, working in a highly technical environment where your expertise in LV/MV systems, controls, and power infrastructure will be key to successful project delivery.
This role suits a Senior Electrical Project Engineer who wants to step into a position with real responsibility, working on major projects while developing towards senior leadership.
Your Role As A Senior Electrical Project Engineer Will Include:
*Managing technical, quality, safety, and engineering issues across pre-construction and construction phases
*Overseeing LV/MV electrical packages including switchgear, generators, and power distribution systems
*Reviewing and driving value engineering solutions to optimise cost and performance
*Carrying out technical and commercial review of subcontractor tenders and producing bid analysis
*Coordinating procurement to ensure materials and subcontractors align with programme delivery
*Working closely with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
*Supporting commissioning, testing, and handover of critical electrical systems
As A Senior Electrical Project Engineer You Will Have:
*Strong electrical engineering background within data centres / critical infrastructure / industrial projects
*Proven experience managing LV/MV packages across the full lifecycle
*Strong technical understanding of switchgear, generators, UPS, and electrical distribution systems
*Exposure to controls / BMS / power monitoring systems (ABB or similar highly desirable)
*Experience reviewing technical submissions and driving engineering solutions on site
*Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to procurement and subcontractor management
*HNC / HND / Degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
*SMSTS and relevant H&S certifications
*Experience operating as an LVAP (or working closely within HV/LV environments)

An excellent opportunity for a senior BMS / Controls professional to step into a lead role with a rapidly growing, market-leading contractor delivering mission-critical projects across Europe.
This role is suited to someone who has operated at the interface between main contractor, client, MEP teams, and BMS vendors, and is comfortable owning the BMS strategy, delivery, and commissioning across complex, high-value projects.
You'll be joining a business with a strong pipeline of data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, and high-tech builds across Germany, the UK, and the EU.
The position offers long-term security, exposure to flagship projects, and clear progression into regional / EMEA leadership.
This is a site-led, delivery-focused role - not a desk-based controls position.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel and stay away as projects require.
The Role will include:
Taking full ownership of the BMS / Controls / EPMS package from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
Acting as the technical authority for BMS across one or multiple projects
Managing and coordinating BMS subcontractors, system integrators, and vendors
Reviewing BMS and M&E design information to ensure buildability, compliance, and programme alignment
Leading technical discussions with consultants, client teams, and internal delivery teams
Managing RFIs, design queries, change control, and technical risk
Ensuring full integration of BMS with M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, life safety, EPMS, etc.)
Overseeing QA/QC, inspections, snagging, and documentation
Supporting and leading commissioning, IST, and final client handover
Providing guidance and leadership to site teams and junior package managers
As a BMS Lead, You will Have:
Strong BMS / Controls background with proven site delivery experience
Experience working on data centres, pharma, industrial, or other mission-critical projects
Background from a main contractor, MEP contractor, BMS vendor, or specialist integrator
Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and holding authority on technical matters
Willingness to be site-based and travel / stay away as projects require
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
EU right to work preferred
