My client is a large firm of construction consultants working on a range of high value projects.
They are now seeking either a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER or an ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER to join them based anywhere as required across the INDIAN OCEAN area.
They work on projects in the Seychelles, Mauritius, Maldives, Zanzibar etc.
The suitable candidate will not mind travelling as required.
They are wanting to employ people who have already worked on high end resorts and who ideally have experience of working in the Middle East or similar.
THE COMPANY

They have a selection of long standing clients and are extremely busy.
They work on a good range of projects for building construction including new build, refurbishment, fit-out etc.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Project Manager in the Building Construction industry.
You should already be working at either Senior Project Manager or Associate Project Manager level.
You should have a construction related Degree in Construction Project Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or similar.
Ideally you will be Chartered as a Project Manager with MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or similar.
You must have a minimum of twelve years post graduate experience of project management.
You need to have good experience of working on resort / large hotel projects.
Previous experience of working overseas - in particular in the Middle East would be preferred.
You must be highly articulate and have excellent client facing skills.
You must have excellent written and spoken English.
You will ideally have been working for a firm of construction consultants.
You need experience of site inspects and site meetings plus attendance at meetings and minuting of meetings.
Experience of administering construction contracts e.g.
FIDIC and others.
Salary will be negotiable according to your level of experience along with allowances.

They are now seeking a SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER who has some experience of design and experience of structural analysis across a range of building materials.
You will use design software i.e.
TSD, Tedds so some previous experience of this is required.
You will provide design input associated with the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and materials.
You will work on a good range of projects for a variety of buildings using various materials.
This is a role for an ambitious senior structural engineer who is keen to come into a firm where you will Associates and the Partners and you will be able to also mentor graduate engineers.
Projects include high end residential, offices, healthcare and schools.
You will take the projects from Riba Stage 3 through to completion.

You should have at least 3 years or more experience of working as a Structural Engineer in the UK for a firm of consultants.
You must have some experience of using design software i.e.
TSD, Tedds etc.
You should already have experience of working in a UK firm of consulting engineers.
You need to have a full clean UK driging license to enable you to get to remote sites.
You need experience of detailed design and also structural analysis.
You should be able to work on structural design across the full range of materials.
Experience of site inspections.
Good communication skills essential to liase with contractors during construction and with other consultants, the client etc.
Salary will be negotiable according to your level of experience but in the region of £40000 to £70000 plus pension and a range of benefits.

As a Structural Engineer, you will support the delivery of structural design solutions across varied building and infrastructure projects.
