Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Tactical Buyer is responsible procuring raw materials, components, MRO supplies, and services to support production and distribution in a cost-effective manner.
This role manages purchase orders, vendor relationships, and ensures the timely flow of goods that meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Work Schedule

Essential Duties
Manage day-to-day transactional buying and related activities.
Efficiently uses the ERP system on a daily basis.
Create POs and manage the procurement of open orders.
Work closely with supplier base to ensure product quality, cost efficiency and on-time delivery.
Identifies cost saving opportunities throughout the supply chain.
Monitor and control material flow to support dynamic business requirements including working with overseas suppliers, freight carriers, customs broker, and other stakeholders in the supply chain.
May be asked to lead and/or participate in cross functional teams with Accounting, Production, Engineering, Warehousing, Sales, etc.
Ensure that procured materials and services meet technical and quality requirements.
May be asked to support with suppliers in the negotiation of contracts, supply agreements, pricing, lead times, issue resolution.
Control price with all suppliers.
Anticipate and report supply chain issues to management.
Prepare purchase analysis and PO detail reports for Legend Brands companies as requested.
Execute objectives and improve against department KPIs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience working with chemical and electrical commodities is an added advantage.
The Tactical Buyer demonstrates the following:
ERP/MRP navigation and PO Management.
Basic supplier communication and expediting.
Cost comparison and RFQ execution.
Positive communication with Production, Quality, Planning and Warehouse teams.
Know all applicable processes and procedures and demonstrates proficiency.
Advanced supplier management skills.
Cost reduction projects.
Supply Chain Risk Management (single-source risk mitigation, global sourcing impacts, etc.).
Effectively analyze Total Cost of Ownership data.
Employment Standards
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems - D365 preferred.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Understanding of lean manufacturing environment utilizing 5S, Kaizen or Kanban system.
Skill in decision making by considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choosing the most appropriate one.
Applies Total Cost of Ownership techniques to accomplish objectives.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance cost, quality and risk.
Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and software, specifically MS Excel.
Ability to work with Engineering Departments to support product design or changes while ensuring procurement processes are appropriately maintained.
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Ability to quickly make sense of, combine, and organize information.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsible for offshore and ROC project preparation activities on IRM business line projects.

Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing advanced
technical and conceptual design expertise to support the development of new products.
This
position will be responsible for determining design approach, theoretical and FEA analysis,
preparing CAD drawings, prototyping, testing and verification of the new designs.
Supervision Responsibility:
None
Essential Duties
Responsible for performing mechanical engineering research, design, development, and evaluations to support new product development.
Leverage new research and existing knowledge base into design of new products.
Responsible for designing diverse systems, including custom refrigeration, air quality and structural designs.
Proficient use of SolidWorks to perform design and drafting tasks.
Work in step with internal and external groups to ensure projects are completed on time.
Perform FEA simulations both in Solidworks and Moldex 3D, analyze and interpret information, and disseminate to internal parties.
Formulate and execute testing to validate output meets design requirements.
Liaise with manufacturing and production team on manufacturability of new products.
Design and lead process improvement initiatives within engineering office.
Responsible for continuous improvement and software upgrades.
Lead effort to document engineering techniques, modify and maintain knowledge base.
Foster a respectful environment and culture with colleagues and peers.
Train and mentor new engineers.
Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Demonstrate ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Employment Standards
Knowledge of Intermediate Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of SolidWorks as an advanced user.
Skilled at having a high sense of logic and understanding on internal systems.
Skilled at providing excellent customer service.
Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency.
Ability to demonstrate a strong level of attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Ability to quickly learn processes and develop skills required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Hiring Range
Between $80,200 - $105,000 annually.

Role of the EHS Manager
As the EHS Manager, you will promote best practice for the management of Health, Safety and Environmental factors in order to achieve continuous improvement and performance of the Health and Safety on site.
Key Responsibilities:
To maintain good working knowledge of all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines, including: COMAH, Human Factors, DSEAR PUWER, COSHH etc.
To ensure that all programmes of work are identified to ensure compliance with the correct regulations and regulatory bodies.
Lead the development and improvement of the safety management systems to ensure that hazards are identifies and risks are evaluated proactively.
To support the engineering and new product development areas by developing robust systems to assess new projects and ensure that they are safe before operation on the manufacturing plant.
Developing strong links with parent companies to ensure best practice is shared and learnt.
Essential Criteria of the EHS Manager:
Strong background within HSE Leadership within a process manufacturing environment
Previous experience of working on a COMAH Regulated Site within a health and safety related position
Degree qualified within a relevant subject / field
Hold a NEBOSH qualification
Knowledge and understanding of Process Safety
Knowledgeable within EHS legislation and regulations
Understanding of REACH Regulations
