Synergi are recruiting for a Facilities Project Manager with hands on engineering experience to join a large, world-leading manufacturing site based in Andover. Our client, a continuously expanding name within their industry, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Project Engineer to play a key role in leading facilities and site improvement projects across a major manufacturing operation.
The Role
As a Facilities Project Manager, you'll oversee a variety of facilities and capital infrastructure projects within a large-scale manufacturing environment, You'll work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operational teams to deliver projects that enhance site performance, safety, compliance, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end delivery of facilities, site services, and infrastructure projects
Oversee CAPEX planning, budget control, and project timelines
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
Lead projects relating to building services, utilities, and site upgrades (HVAC, compressed air, water systems, etc.)
Drive continuous improvement in energy efficiency, safety, and site reliability
Ensure all works comply with HSE, GMP, and site standards
Produce and maintain detailed project documentation and reports

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide independent support for primary territory product lines.
Onsite Applicator Training, Distributor location wet wall training, pre-construction jobsite meetings when required, Contractor and applicator support, Job complaint-warranty claim, job site observation, trade should participation as needed.

Provide live and/or web-based training for internal staff and/or external customers

Exercise clear and confident communication of product lines and construction practices during presentation delivery.
Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether designs or applications comply with local codes, industry standards, and regulations.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Construction, or similar preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training with the application of EIFS / Plastering.

The Role

My Client is a leading manufacturer of large composite structures and GRP mouldings they provide a complete composites manufacturing service from design & engineering to parts manufacturing and final assembly.
With the spray shop continuing to expand and the business taking on a wider range of work, we are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Prepper / Polisher to join the current Team.
The successful candidate would need to be flexible and prepared to work both alone and as part of a team on various tasks from high end super yacht products to pattern making and producing mould tools, also with the introduction of new and innovative paint and surface coatings be prepared to help develop and implement new processes to meet customer requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities of a paint sprayer:
- Filling and fairing various moulds to meet customer specification prior to application of various paint systems using various fillers to include AWL-FAIR prior to primer application
- Paint spraying GRP moulding using two pack polyester base coats and polyurethane top coats to high quality standards.
- Using a wide range of various paint systems Primers, base coats, clears, metallics, textured finishes and non-slip coatings.
- GRP mouldings to be finished ready to take subsequent paint systems
- Lacquers cut and polished to high gloss
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Good paint preparation skills, GRP surfaces made good for priming and application of base coats and lacquers, use of a wide range of tools to include orbital sanders, air saws, drills, sanding blocks.
- Previous experience in cutting and polishing paints and lacquers to a mirror finish.
- Experience working as a Paint Sprayer within Marine, Automotive or aviation industry.
- Previous experience in application of various paint systems and being able to follow Technical Data Sheets to ensure process is followed and recorded.
- An understanding of WFT and how this is measured.
- Any previous experience of working with carbon fibre would be beneficial but not essential.
- A good eye for detail is a must to ensure the highest standards are met to meet customer expectations.
