JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This position performs diagnostic various onsite inspections for customers as well as other inspection services
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform/assist with diagnostic roof inspections, including Infrared, Nuclear, visual, & other inspection services, along with related information gathering and verification tasks.
Work with Lead Diagnostics Technician Collaborate with other Field Supervisors as necessary. Assist with the Quality Control (QC) process of all diagnostic jobs, including the proper documentation, to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer was fully satisfied. Conduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, voicemail, in person) with the customers, sales reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all diagnostic related matters. Serve as a contact for the office personnel if there are any problems concerning a diagnostic issue. Project a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while completing services for a customer. In conjunction with the Manager of Diagnostic Services, assist in the training of other field personnel on diagnostic tools, techniques, processes, etc. Proper completion of all services and related paperwork. Participate in all safety trainings and complete any required documentation. Perform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the Manager of Diagnostic Services or the VP of General Services
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior roofing inspection and diagnostic experience Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling skills Knowledge and experience in monitoring and maintaining Quality Control Functional computer skills Prior safety training and complete a minimum of 10-hour OSHA certification Planning and organizational skills.
Able to juggle multiple priorities and demonstrate good task management Ability to work independently Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships Ability to climb up and down interior/exterior ladders to access roofs (minimum of 20 ft.) and carry basic hand tools, equipment, and/or material up to approx.
75 lbs.
over long distances Capable of walking along rooftop edges (no fear of heights, good balance, etc.) Ability to handle prolonged exposure to outside weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)

Specific Requirements:
Stage and prepare all raw materials associated with production orders. Makes batches and operates packaging equipment efficiently.
Capable of handling scanner & basic computer operations Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in and packaging areas, with active engagement in positive safety behavior. Communicates inventory levels and/or concerns to supervisory staff. Develops good working knowledge of all production processes. Maintains good working relationship with Quality Control. Must be flexible in job assignments and capable of learning all aspects of the facility. Reports all spills and leaks, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, accidents, near miss accidents and material shortages to Production Supervisor. When there is downtime on his line, proceeds to line assigned to him by Production Supervisor for further training or operation. Assist in hazardous waste handling when needed under the guidance from production management / supervisors or RCRA certified employees. The above description identifies only the primary duties pertaining to this position.
Additional tasks are performed, as required by supervisory staff, and do not significantly alter this description.
Background Requirements:
High School Diploma with some college level chemistry preferred. Minimum 2 year prior production related experience or 1 year experience as a production batch maker.
Physical Requirements:
Must pass standard eye examination (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color- tone testing. Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by fit test performed by an authorized agency.

The Field Resource Inspector is responsible for completing documents, forms, processes and data gathering to ensure accuracy, quality and integrity in our field inspection reporting.

This position is responsible to perform specific inspection services at the direction of the local Foreman or Supervisor.

Field Resource Inspection Technician is responsible for performing the inspection services.

The Inspection Technician will perform all services in a professional manner as it pertains to conduct, appearance and communication. All required job information should be completed promptly via the required tools and resources. Must be familiar with all forms of low slope roofing systems. Must be knowledgeable with Tremco line of products and proper applications Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review and confirm all work orders scheduled. Completion of all safety related activities using the designated tools mandated by Tremco Take photos to document phases of work performed on the job
Job Site Inspection specific: Ensure the Spec has been read and will be taken to the project location.- Job Site Inspection specific Check materials for specification compliance, material type and proper storage Walk the roof with the Foreman.

Run floor scrubber and floor buffer as needed. Empty plant floor trash containers and advise maintenance manager when the trash dumpster is full. Empty all cardboard containers on the plant floor and take cardboard to the recycle dumpster outside the facility. Sweeps plant floor daily removing dust from the plant floor. Assists in cleaning up chemical spills as required.
Follows safety guidelines in doing this task. Specific Requirements:
Works directly with the Production Superintendent, other Production Supervisors, Process Technicians, Utility, and others in the safe handling of the equipment and chemical intermediates in both storage and use in production. Review, check, and signoff on appropriate paperwork for both their own and the Process Technicians and Utility employees under watch. Oversee the training of Process Technicians and Utility employees as well as administer reviews and additional trainings as required.
Have a good command and general working knowledge of manufacturing equipment (i.e.
cooling tower fans and circulation pumps, chiller system, steam boilers, air compressors, reactors, and emergency shutdown procedures. Comprehension of manufacturing techniques vacuum distillation, atmospheric controls, chemical addition, filtration methods, control of exothermic reactions, and adjustment of rates of addition within the operating requirement of equipment used. Inventory Control through cycle counts, batch log & MUS record keeping, and filling or transferring documentation. Manages inventory reduction per departmental inventory reduction strategy. Understand and demonstrate compliance with HMIS, SDS's, HAZCOM, General Safety, Tank Markings, Plant Signage, HAZWASTE, LO/TO, PSM, PPE protocol, and proper housekeeping. Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved. Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order.
Determine raw materials needed. Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program. May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required.
