Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of account management experience
- Previous sales/order processing experience
- Ability to resolve issues, handle complaints and queries
- Manufacturing, Engineering or FMCG background
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HGV Technician with 5 years experience in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance or equivalent to join a well-established vehicle repair workshop.
This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £18 - £20 per hour.
As an HGV Technician, you will play a pivotal role in conducting servicing, as well as on-site and off-site repairs on customer vehicles and equipment.
You will be responsible for:
* Respond to breakdowns as part of the callout rota system.
* Diagnose and repair vehicles with a "right first time" approach, providing customers with clear explanations of faults and estimated repair timescales.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of commercial HGV vehicles, trailers, and plant equipment to VOSA standards.
* Utilise diagnostic equipment effectively.
* Complete job cards and timesheets daily, ensuring accurate recording of all parts used.
* Handle all vehicles carefully, taking necessary precautions while working on customer premises, and ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Trailer Technician, HGV Fitter, Truck Technician or in a similar role.
* At least 5 years' experience in repairing and maintaining heavy goods and municipal vehicles.
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
* Industry-recognised qualifications and apprenticeship completion.
* Skilled in computer operations, including software, operating systems, and iPad usage.
* Valid driving licence.
Shifts:
* Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 16:00
* Saturday: 07:00 - 12:00 (Every other week)
