Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons for students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA.
Enjoy flexible working hours within the school day, allowing you to design a schedule that suits your needs.
Work in various settings, including local libraries or students' homes, to ensure the best learning environment for everyone.
Create a safe and supportive environment that helps students develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the well-being and progress of each student.
Track and monitor student progress, adapting your teaching strategies to meet evolving needs.
Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Key Requirements:
PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A flexible and proactive approach to teaching and problem-solving, including the ability to adapt to various learning environments.
Passion for supporting students' emotional, social, and academic growth.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a supportive team.

Teach Plus are currently working with a primary school located in Waltham Forest, who are seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to start in April.
The school is a welcoming, supporting, ‘Outstanding' primary school where children are genuinely happy to come to school and learn.

The senior leadership team are incredibly supported and offer an open-door policy, staff feel valued and appreciated.
The school are looking for a confident, knowledgeable Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join them ASAP.
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will be required to:
Take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments.
Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
Use a range of different primary class teacher strategies and resources to support pupils' learning and development, including learning through play, phonics, and early numeracy skills.
Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression.
Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the education and training of the pupils.
Be able to undertake long-term work in Waltham Forest.
The ideal candidate for role will have:
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for education and training
Recent primary class teacher experience within a primary school setting
Ability to travel consistently to Waltham Forest
UK recognised Teaching Qualification with QTS
Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
