The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant.
The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor.
This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts.
The employee filling this role will lead this expansion project all the way through the commissioning and scaleup phases. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process. Perform safety vent calculations for process upset conditions. Determine the correct control systems and interlocks to safely operate the process. Participate in plantwide process safety programs. The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant.
The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor.
This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts.
The employee filling this role will lead this expansion project all the way through the commissioning and scaleup phases. In addition to supporting new products and plant expansions, this individual will also manage and optimize existing processes throughout the plant with the goals of maximizing yield and minimizing batch cycle times. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process. Subject matter expert in wide range of chemical plant processes and systems.
Perform safety vent calculations for process upset conditions. Determine the correct control systems and interlocks to safely operate the process. Participate in plantwide process safety programs. LEAN Culture Use knowledge of existing processes to propose process modifications which will reduce waste. The Process Engineer, will be the technical consultant to the plant continuous improvement team. Understand the principle and philosophy behind the implementation of a LEAN culture. Product Quality Provide process knowledge to quality control department in order to troubleshoot quality issues. After developing a new process, coordinate the training of operators with a focus on quality critical product specifications, Standard Operating Procedures and process parameters. Key Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in site management, specifically in steel and cladding construction
Extensive knowledge of steel structures and cladding installation processes
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and support teams effectively
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction sector
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Mandatory Certifications
CSCS Card (Site Manager level)
First Aid at Work Certification
SMSTS Training Certification
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Provide technical knowledge and guidance of IFRS 15 and UK GAAP
Prepare statutory financial statements and support with Year-end, Weekly and bi-weekly cashflow and monthly reporting.
Support in the R&D tax credit process, working with external advisors on annual claims
Provide support with annual budgets and forward forecasts
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, assist in ensuring standardised reporting and drive improvements where necessary
