Summary: We are looking for a skilled and passionate EHS Specialist to champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across our facilities.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in enhancing our safety and environmental programs by working across departments to address EHS challenges, uphold regulatory requirements, and promote safe practices that align with Euclid Chemical's mission.
Your efforts will have a tangible impact on strengthening workplace safety, maintaining compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of our EHS management system and provide guidance to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations. Design and lead EHS-related projects, tackling safety and environmental challenges head-on while implementing corrective actions when necessary. Maintain and update safety and environmental training programs; coordinate and conduct training sessions for employees. Manage data tracking and filing for environmental permits (air, water, hazardous waste), safety statistics, and corporate EHS reporting requirements. Develop and oversee Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Label Guides as part of the North American Chemical Management System. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure product labels and technical data sheets meet regulation standards, reviewing and approving all labels before release. Stay informed of evolving laws and regulations, sharing critical updates with stakeholders to maintain compliance and adapt quickly.
Experience and Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety regulatory compliance. A bachelor's degree in an EHS-related field. Practical understanding of USDOT, IMDG, IATA, and Canadian TDG regulations. Familiarity with SAP and other IT/Environmental Management Software systems. Proven ability to engage with diverse teams, including upper management, mid-level professionals, and the hourly workforce. Chemically-savvy with relevant industry experience, including knowledge of chemical reactions. A self-motivated problem solver who thrives in collaborative teams. Adaptability to learn new regulations quickly and apply them effectively within manufacturing. Professional certifications (or a willingness to maintain them) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Job Description:
Our client is looking for someone with excellent communication skills to work as a Training and Competence Supervisor on a permanent basis.
This role would suit someone who is currently working in a T&C focused role, or perhaps in a people-focused position with relevant qualifications, looking for a development opportunity.
Skills/Experience:
Ideally from a financial services training and competence background.
Level 4 Diploma qualified, preferably with AF6 or working towards this or an equivalent qualification.
A sound product and technical knowledge across all aspects of financial services with particular knowledge and experience of all types of pensions and investments.
Ideally some Training and Competence experience
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexible approach.
Committed and self-motivated
Willing and able to develop wide skills and knowledge, including keeping abreast of regulatory updates and recommending amendments to current standards and procedures as appropriate.
Core Responsibilities:
Providing support to advisors on all aspects of training, competency and compliance
Provide ongoing supervision to advisors in line with supervisory standards set within the function.
Managing induction and supervision of new entrants.
Provision of technical, supervisory and compliance support to new and existing advisers.
Completion of annual and additional risk based one to ones with advisers.
Collating data and recording results on the system, identification, and reporting of trends by adviser or firm level.
Providing appropriate feedback both written and verbal to individual advisers.
Performing and recording further reviews on an ongoing basis.
Liaison with colleagues within the firm across the training and administration functions where necessary
The individual will be expected to learn other aspects of compliance with a view to providing cover whenever needed.

Within this role you will be working with across various industries (some regulated), on specialist, complex and high-value cases, dealing with boards of directors at major corporates (e.g.
international airlines).
The team also works in the niche and technical area of special administrations.
You will be joining a vibrant and hard-working team.
The firm is ideally looking for someone with around 2+ years PQE within insolvency and restructuring and are looking for someone driven with a can-do attitude.
This reference to PQE is given solely as a guide and Insolvency lawyers outside of the bracket are encouraged to get in touch - the team is extremely busy and plans to grow further so will consider applicants with a range of experience levels - from recently qualified right through to Director / Partner.
