An opportunity has arisen for an Security Systems Engineer / CCTV & Alarm Engineer to join a well-established security services provider in the UK offering state-of-the-art home security solutions.
This full-time role offers salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 and benefits.
As an Security Systems Engineer, you will be installing and maintaining alarm and CCTV systems across residential properties to meet individual client security needs.
You will be responsible for:
* Installing and configuring CCTV systems (wired) and wireless intruder alarms.
* Servicing and maintaining existing systems to ensure ongoing reliability.
* Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues efficiently.
* Advising clients on suitable security setups based on site visits.

What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as an Security Systems Engineer, Security Engineer, Alarm Engineer, Access Control engineer, CCTV Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, CCTV Installation Engineer or in a similar role.
* Experience in installing and servicing wired CCTV and wireless alarm systems.
* Knowledge of Alarm/CCTV systems and telecommunication principles.
* Background with computer hardware, networking, and electrical systems.
* Understanding of mounting cameras, alarms and running cables.
* Skilled in using power tools for installation purposes.
* Full UK driving licence.

Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager based in North England:
Identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities across target markets, with a 60% focus on hunting new customers and 40% on key account management
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline focused on PCB assembly, contract manufacturing, surface mount, box build, and sheet metal services
Expand relationships with existing customers to maximise business potential across design, production, and quality divisions

Strong commercial awareness and target-driven mindset with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Established network of contacts within the PCB and defence sectors is essential

Fully computer literate with mainstream software proficiency

Desirable:
Degree qualified (preferred but not essential)
