GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Production Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Production Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
The Production Operator will operate production equipment, including industrial blenders, in accordance with the established production schedule.

Perform work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Follow standard work procedures to operate and maintain assigned machine(s).

Maintain accurate paperwork.
Inspects equipment, structures, and materials to identify problems or defects prior to production to ensure a clean, clear and safe work environment.
Reads and follows work orders and formulas to meet production specifications and schedules.
Examines materials, ingredients, or product per quality standards.
Weighs or measures materials, ingredients, and products per requirements.
Adds and mixes raw materials according to specifications.
Transfers materials, supplies, and products between work areas.
Discharges blenders of powder when necessary.
Ensures quality and conformity of blended products to meet standards.
Ensures equipment is set-up, cleaned, sanitized, and operating properly before, after and between runs.
Completes cleaning logs and notifies quality control for hygiene testing.
Records operational and production data on specified forms/production documents.
Reports malfunctions to a supervisor and confirms proactive and routine maintenance.
Conducts on-going assessment of quality control and operational procedures.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: No formal education required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: No prior experience or training.

Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory through proper utilization of RF devices, accurate counts, and recording/reporting of all discrepancies and damaged product.
Assist in physical inventories
Maintains a safe work environment ensuring that all DC policies and practices are followed.
Upholds an acceptable level of housekeeping in all areas of responsibility
Abides by all DC safety rules and regulations
Works in other areas as required by business needs
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse environment
Ability to safely operator a walkie-rider and pallet jack after training completion
Ability to operate RF scanner
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the scheduled work day
Must be able to stand and/or walk for the entire scheduled shift
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others

Works in other areas as required by business needs

Previous experience in a warehouse environment

Location: Southampton Salary: £25,447.50 per annum Full-time | Permanent
C2 Recruitment is recruiting for Warehouse Stock Auditors to join a fast-paced distribution environment in Southampton.
This is a hands-on role focused on stock accuracy, auditing and quality control within a major retail supply chain operation.
You will play a key role in ensuring deliveries, pallets and outbound loads are checked accurately before leaving site.
If you have experience within warehouse operations, stock control, goods in, dispatch or auditing and enjoy detail-focused work, this could be an excellent opportunity.
The Role
, Carry out physical stock audits across pallets, cages and outbound loads , Check deliveries and dispatch paperwork for accuracy , Identify and report stock discrepancies quickly and professionally , Record audit results accurately using internal systems , Work to daily targets and quality standards , Support operational accuracy within a busy warehouse environment
What We're Looking For
, Previous warehouse, stock control or audit experience , Strong attention to detail and accuracy , Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment , Good communication and organisational skills , Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge , Reliable and professional approach , Must be aged 18 or over , Own transport required
Working Hours
, 37.5 hours per week , 5 days out of 7 , Rotating 8-hour shifts between:
06:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 22:00
