JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team.
The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.
$23-29/hour (not including prevailing wage)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation of different types of roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems
Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)
Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.
Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks.
Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs.
Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other WTI and Tremco employees
Job Requirements:
Commercial Roofing: 5 to 10 years experience
Reliable form of transportation
Acceptable background check per company standards
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
Plus:
Dependable truck with ability to put ladder rack on it
Tuckpointing various masonry surfaces.
Routing and sealing cracks in concrete/masonry walls.
Power washing and sealing masonry walls.
Spraying and coating masonry walls with various coatings.
Skilled in joint sealants, wet glazing, all building sealants.
Skilled Finish Caulker.
Mechanical lift/ forklift skills- Telescopic lift, Articulating lift, Telescopic man lift, Scissor lift, etc.
30' to 165' ft.
Practical sheet metal skills IE hanging gutters, downspouts, installing counterflashings
Brick/CMU replacement
Concrete and EIFS patching

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Machine Operator starts, troubleshoots, and operates manufacturing equipment safely.
There are three Machine Operator levels (I, II, & III).
The level will be determined by experience, ability to assume various roles on the plant floor, and demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and problem-solve machine issues resulting in efficient cycles and minimal downtime.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions and layout requirements.
Accurately measure materials using tape measures and other precision tools.
Operate circular saws, specialized saw equipment (including setup and maintenance), and basic cutting tools.
Operate lift trucks and forklifts to move and stage materials after completing certification requirements.
Safely handle and transport materials, including lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in pre-cut operations.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive and quality-focused work environment.
Actively participate in team meetings and report discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors.
Verify materials meet required quality standards before advancing to the next phase of production.
Perform routine inspection and maintenance of cutting tools, saw equipment, and lift trucks to ensure safe operation.
Cross-train on other production functions as business need dictates.
Clean and maintain assigned area to ensure proper functionality.
Report and assist with resolving safety, quality, and mechanical issues.
Participate in the continuous improvement process.
If appropriate, set up and operate various off-line and secondary equipment.
Perform other duties or tasks as assigned
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
One to two years related experience and/or training .
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to function effectively in a team setting.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrates reliability, flexibility, and dependability.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
