The role of the Clinical Operations Manager is to support the person-centred delivery of quality-based care functions within OneCall24 Healthcare and provide Clinical and managerial oversight of a residential service consisting of 3 young adults with complex needs and a team of approximately 25 HCAs.
The role also supports the day-to-day care delivery activities within the Complex Care teams, as the needs of the client and business dictate.
The Clinical Operations Manager needs to be flexible to the requirements of our clients and the business and also ensure that the reputation of the business is that of a company who provides a safe and effective service which enhances the lives of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership to the service manager and care team.
Carry out care plan and risk assessment reviews.
Conduct medication and clinical audits to ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
Provide clinical supervision, training, and competency assessments for care staff.
Support the delivery of safe, person-centred care for individuals with long-term and complex conditions.
Liaise with MDTs to ensure cohesive and effective clinical support.
Participate in audits, spot checks, and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain your clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development.
Build strong, supportive relationships with care teams, management, clients, families and professionals.
Oversee a team of 20 - 30 care workers, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery.
Undertake regular care shifts, to monitor and improve levels of care provision
Provide clinical escalation out of hours in conjunction with our wider Clinical Lead team.
Essential Requirements
Registered Nurse - Adult/LD with valid NMC registration
Experience in Complex Care and supporting individuals with a learning disability
Community experience

Support daily office functions such as making coffee, managing dishwashers, and maintaining standard room setups (tables, chairs, room layout).
Monitor supply needs and coordinate replenishment.
Maintain and update the Office Services Manual to ensure all procedures, vendor information, and operational guidelines remain accurate and current.
Building Access and Property Management
Assign and maintain building access cards, key fobs, and parking tags for associates.
Ensure the property database remains accurate and updated.
Manage office and furniture key inventory and coordinate replacements or new orders with vendors.
Off-Site Storage
Oversee relationship with off-site document storage company.
Coordinate the pick-up and retrieval of documents with DAP associates and off-site storage company.
Pull reports as needed regarding inventory and assist with the annual destruction review process.
Other Duties
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Corporate Phone and Associate Birthday lists, and ensure the lists are properly communicated to associates.
Prepare orientation manuals for new hires as needed.
Provide assistance to Office Manager and Human Resources on other tasks as needed.
Code facilities related and general office invoices for approval and processing.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, High School or GED.
At least five years of reception experience in a Corporate Office environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including strong grammar skills
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated customer focus and strong action orientation
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and priorities effectively

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

An established independent Opticians in Bedlington is looking to recruit an experienced Opticians Practice Manager to join their close knit team.
This is a four day a week role with no weekends, offering an excellent work life balance within a patient focused practice.
The Practice
Independent Opticians with a loyal, long standing patient base
Single testing with an emphasis on quality and personalised care
Friendly, professional environment with a strong community feel
Practice opening hours of 9am to 5.30pm
The Role
Managing a small team of around 4 to 5 staff
Leading from the front to deliver high levels of customer service
Supporting the team to achieve sales performance and patient satisfaction
Day to day practice management including stock control and presentation
Ensuring high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance
Assisting with dispensing, frame styling, and contact lenses where required
Handling patient queries and resolving issues efficiently
Accurate use of the POS system and management of transactions
Working Pattern and Package
4 days per week
No weekends
Salary between £27,000 and £32,000 depending on experience
Bonus scheme available
Requirements
Previous experience working within an Opticians
Experience managing or leading a team
Commercially aware with a customer focused approach
Confident, organised, and reliable
Strong communication and leadership skills
Committed to the long term development of the practice
